Niko Niko Boba — Restaurant in Saint Paul

I REALLY wanted to support local and love this place but the boba is just bad. 😞 I think they use that very specific non-dairy creamer that has a floral taste. It overpowers the flavor of the tea no matter what kind you get. I’ve tasted it at some other boba spots but it’s not as common. The people that work here are terrible. I say this in the kindest way possible because I cannot express how I asked a single question and the staff behind the counter just looked at me. They said not a single word. Not one. I wish I was joking. The Niko’s in the MOA is a million times better.

Everytime I come here the drinks are good, but it is woefully understaffed. Often, only one person is working the entire shop, which is not only inconvenient for customers, but unfair and downright dangerous for the workers! (And possibly illeagal). I hope Niko Niko can get it together and stop trying to pinch pennies and provide their employees with better hours...
