Cute store with a good variety of nicknack items. Prices are a little on the higher side, but not too bad.
My issue with the store was the same as several other reviewers…the staff. There was an unnecessary amount of staff for this size store. Even with all the staff on the floor, not ONE greeted me nor asked if I needed help till I was in their faces. The one & only guy on staff(slim young guy with dark hair in plaid) literally walked around me to the other customers to ask if they needed help. I counted 5 times, he walked past me or walked around me to get to the well dressed older Caucasian customers to ask them if all as well. He never acknowledged my existence till I reached the register. Then all of the sudden he was overjoyed to help.
I was finally acknowledged by 2 staff who were blocking items in an aisle I was trying to browse. They continued to talk about booze, their partners & an irritating co-worker for several mins till I stopped being polite & asked to get through. One then apologized & asked if I needed assistance at that point.
Again, the store is stocked with cute nicknacks & gifts. But I won’t be going back to this or any other locations based on service. Full disclosure, I was wearing joggers, a hoodie & a beanie. So, I wasn’t dressed how I’d like to be for shopping, but it was a last min stop. Perhaps I was ignored on my clothes or looked too ethnic. I never like to use ethnic card, but it was that or my clothes which if that was the reason, is laughable since I was clean, it was snowing & outfit items expensive. I just don’t know. All I know is the same guy who ignored me was really excited to see my total of purchases & credit card. All of the sudden I was seen by him & over the...
Read moreI went into good things with my two best friends, having high hopes and expectations for this store. As soon as we walked in we were not greeted by any staff member. Then we proceeded to look around. While looking around we find ourselves near some employees who also don’t greet us but just look at us. Then as soon as two of us decide it’s time to leave we vocally express that we are about to leave and try to find our other friend. As soon as we say that, one of the employees RUNS to the register where her co-workers are and go check the security camera. When we got towards the register we noticed jewelry up at the front and no one asked us if we wanted to look at anything but instead all of the employees were surrounded at the computer looking at us and when they finally see we didn’t do anything wrong, one of them says “oh” and everyone walks away. They made it very clear and uncomfortable for us to want to even want to check out. From the jump no one...
Read moreSame experience by others. We stopped in on happenstance after looking to visit the bakery. My partner and I both Native American were excited to support a small business. We found cute items within a fair but gift shop price point. We were followed around by the store staff. Two staff members positioned themselves tightly and turned their bodies as we went about a busy store. It was fairly upsetting as I assumed when a store is busy they would want to share the attention given towards us with other customers. Cute store, clothing style is aged and outdated.
Update: store responded to everything but the deeply disturbing observation they targeted us to follow around. As people of color, yikes...
