They're great until they sell you crap and tell you it's your fault for not finding out in five days.
I requested a battery charged by USB-C. They gave me a $12 Ostara stick battery, which turned out to actually be Micro-USB. I was not that upset about that, but then it broke in less than two months. The salesperson tried to pretend this was normal for its price, as I pointed out $20 Yocan has lasted nearly three years. They also made me prove it was broken, despite not offering a return either way, or even selling a repair service.
Also got an Ostara 1g cart ($33) that was always shorted, making it unusable. But I did not inspect their wares myself within five days of purchase, so I guess it's my fault! Didn't even offer any troubleshooting to see if it could be fixed. "It's been five days, it's your problem now." These things have 1 year shelf life and sold in packs of three.
I had spent hundreds of dollars in this place, for no reason than being relatively cheap and convenient. That goes out the window when they sell $50 of lemons and call it store policy to do literally nothing.
EDIT: I sent an e-mail to the below address 15 days ago. For incomprehensible reasons, the cart worked after multiple weeks of failure and a dozen tries, without any apparent alteration. But since I didn't need a refund anymore, they felt like they've ignored me entirely! They got lucky and they're continuing to ignore my complains about the return policy and customer service. I am not changing my review, nor should they ever expect me to shop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was at Root 66 buying some Farmer G crumble and instead got cured resin badder. I called the shop to notify them of the issue and they said nothing they can do. I told them if they could do a quality check and visual inspection while providing there vendors an update on how they mislabeled the resin crumble. Bottom line is I would stay away from Root 66 St Peters cause they canāt help you if there stuff was wrong and this my experience.
I did receive 15 percent off my next order. However I never wanted any cured resin. I came in the store for crumble. The sealed package is very easy to open and is easily resealed. Bottom line you could have inspected the packages and reached out to vendors for non conformity of the purchase orders. Giving me 15 percent off does not make it for 100 percent of a product I did not want or purchase. Again then you can set a policy in place to hold vendors accountable while not taking advantage of customers. Now that 793 people read my review now it seems of more importance. Sorry I will not be coming back and I still have the cured resin that I dislike. This industry needs to be held to a high standards for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place has a long way to go to being a great dispensary . First, I would say the staff is awesome and that is a great foundation. They also have a decent reward system. Having said that, the selection is very limited and poor. They very rarely have any top strains, and when they do they still aren't quite right because some of their growers are not providing the quality they should. They also charge premium pricing on some strains that are just flat out mediocre. I think recreation made things just move to fast for this location. I highly suspect some of their growers are harvesting too quickly to match demand.(they do have some good growers, you just have to avoid some) I am hoping they figure it out, but it seems they are a long ways away from reaching that point. I will gladly update my review if it does, but the big picture is this is a dispensary...and the merchandise, quality and pricing is just not...
