Parrots Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Saint Peters

On a Monday evening we were offered the "Pizza and Wings" menu. I ordered just a basket of fries andy friend ordered wings. We were left unsure how many wings we were going to get exactly - otherwise we would have asked for additional ones as the small wings didn't make up for the small amount you get per order. They really were not anything special as I never once her my friend give any indication that they were good at all. He did finish his plate, as did I. However this is a prime example of how a little bit of customer service would have gone a long way. Some suggestions on menu items, maybe confirming the amount of wings expected, even a follow up to check and see how the good/poor everything was would have gone a long way. Our bill should have easily been over $20/$25, it was only $9 and some change. Though the waitress got a 50% tip, it wasn't well deserved - it was given simply because we know what it's like to be the hospitality industry (especially right now). As for Taste: The fries were delicious. I would have kept eating them had she brought another order. The wings were just wings. Nothing special beside the temperature, they came out a little colder then expected but again - the plate was cleared in the end. Will we be back? Most likely not. I don't know if there are new owners or what . I've been here before and had better experiences. The drink I asked for they don't carry . The waitress seemed confused. Or couldn't hear what I was saying .Yet I am served it no problem at the other two places I frequently go to in St Charles County .She was rather rude . At one point she almost knocked me over . I understand they have to move fast but I was not standing in the middle of the bar. I was standing at my seat with the chair pushed in . I didn't order food but my adult children did . The food looked fine . Took a bit to get all of their orders but it was a Friday night . Although we arrived at 6pm . I stood to pay for over 10 minutes. It wasn't even 9 pm . Really felt like I was just being ignored. I also felt that everytime I heard a customer order a drink the first comeback from the worker "do you have a card " in a very do you have money tone is rude . We had a great experience at Parrots last night! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for watching the Cardinals game and playing music bingo. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and casual dining and drinking experience.

We had the Reuben and the mushroom cheese burger with fries and onion rings. Great tasting, hot, no complaints!

We ate at the bar and the bartender kept our drinks filled and kept checking in on us throughout our visit.
