Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Saint Peters

This is the only restaurant in the St. Peter’s area that doesn’t have their lobby open. The line of cars that forms for the drive-thru creates an extremely dangerous situation that puts patrons in the middle of a busy intersection. The owners of this location will probably say they haven’t opened up due to COVID but that is utter nonsense. They probably want the lobby to stay closed because they don’t have to spend money on keeping the lobby clean and stocked. I won’t be coming back here until the lobby is open. Stop being cheap and lazy! You are putting people’s lives at risk for a few dollars.

As with another customer leaving a review, I have been a loyal customer of this location for a very long time. Most of the time my experience here has been good, but the last few times I have encountered a worker at the drive thru window that does not speak to you at all, all she does is take your payment and hand you your bags without a single word, no hello, no letting you know your total, no thank you, absolutely nothing. It's such poor customer service in an entirely different way. I debated on leaving a review and decided to do so for the sake of the management team's awareness so they realize they need to provide training to those working the window. Had to drive all the way back to the store after getting home because their was hair in the sundae. They remade it and didn't offer a refund on my order which was ruined by the time I got all the way back to the house. By then we had to leave to go to vb. It had taken over an hour of driving back&forth&them making the sundae and blizzard and full meal i originally picked up in the drive thru at 430 was now not getting eaten by the time I got back at almost 6 because we had to leave to make it practice in O'Fallon by 630 & we ended up being late rushing to get there because I tried to something fun for my son.
