St. Peters Golf Club — Local services in Saint Peters

They have unlimited play afternoon. On one day it rained so I was the only one out there. It stopped raining but they closed because I was the only one playing. Kelcie was particularly rude about it. The hourly employees seem to want to leave as soon as possible. They take the water jugs down at 6:30 PM! Two hours before dusk in the summer! So if you want to play after work or take advantage of lower rates when the course isn't full, take your own water! The cart path is full of pot holes. They have construction going on replacing some of the path and redoing the waterway, yet failed to fill in any pot holes. It seems pretty dumb not to take some gravel and fill these things in, especially with construction crews on site regularly. It is treacherous in many, many places, like on the way to 3, all of 8, some of 4 etc. The course is link style, no hills, but lots of uneven ground. The tee boxes are not level in most places. The greens are flat, but in very good shape. If you do manage to hit the fairway you are just as likely to be hitting from some dirt, mud, or water puddle as grass. So in summary terribly overpriced for the condition the path and course is in with employees that don't really value your business, at least not the afternoon/dusk players. 18 holes SMASHED into what used to be a 9-hole golf course....The half gravel, half old pavement rutted parking lot should have been a sign of what was to come... Beginner players are not welcome here apparently, as two of the players in our group of 6 were made to feel less than welcome by a hovering "marshal". Don't waste your time here, it will only result in a half wasted Saturday and time out of your life you will never get back. From the appearance of the gift shop inventory and the condition of the cleanliness / windows looking out onto the course gives the impression they closed a year or two ago but still charge people to go out and play on the course? Bring your four wheel drive truck because you'll need it to get into the parking lot and through all of the mud out on the course. And it's been under construction for over 3 years according to...

One of the worst experiences I've ever had golfing. Went out for a birthday scramble for a buddy. That being said we had a few golfers that have never been out before so some of the group were a little off pace. We were pestered and hounded from hole 1 by the Marshall's. We had at 4 tee times and kept explaining the groups behind were apart of our party. Never held anyone outside of our group up yet we were hounded all day long we were told on our scorecardit takes an average of 4 hrs 15min to golf 18. We golfed 4hrs 43min I will never golf here again .
