My wife and I went there last for a drink. We live right down the street from there and it was our first time in. The bar was full so we sat at a little high top table near the bar. We waited for 10 minutes before our server greeted us. She came up to us chewing food which I thought was gross. We told her we each wanted a beer. No problem there. We got our drinks and they were cold and good. Then we could see that they were fully staffed and thought good we will get great service. Nope. You could see the kitchen staff playing slot machines and the other servers or staff sitting at a big high top on the other side of the bar. Within the first 5 min of our beers she checked on us 2 times. I had a draft beer so you would literally see how much I had in there. Then when we finished our drinks we had to wait forever for our server to come back. We could see them all just sitting and talking and vaping right in the middle of the bar. I have never see employees at a restaurant just vape and gamble in front of everyone. When our server finally came back she dropped our check off never to be seen again. We had to get change from the bar after waiting 15 minutes for our server that never came back. We could have walked out on our tab and no one would have noticed. We are not those kinds of people though. We were hoping it would be a cool place to get some drinks after dinner on our date night. We will never be there again. It’s still just amazing to see that no one cared about the customers at all. I get having slots in there but to see so many employees just sitting there playing them and going back to the kitchen and then coming back out to play them. I have never seen anywhere where they let their employees just vape out in the open in front of every customer there. Just...
Read moreI am hesitant to even give a star. This was not good. There was no one at the door to welcome or seat people. The atmosphere lacked in every way, shape and form. It took quite some time to be recognized to be seated. That was clue number one. It was a good 10 degees colder inside than outside, and it was pretty cool out today - clue two. It took the waitress an excessive amount of time to take our orders - clue three. We debated leaving, which we should have. I felt sorry for our waitress who was quite clearly running the show. Talk about overworked. She was so obvioulsy ticked-off about something - No smiling, no welcome, no name, nothing. She was doing everything, running about here and there. My husband's salad came with no dressing, which we had to track someone down to get the dressing. The food came relatively quickly. We were all so hungry, we couldn't wait to eat. The spicy chicken sandwich was acceptable. The pizza was "okay". Everything else was just average or under. The kicker was the screw, yes, metal screw, in my husband's chicken parmesan dish. Mm. Not good. When I asked for the manager, the waitress wouldn't tell me if there was one there or not. She spilled a drink and stormed off with the dish with the screw in it. A bit later he came out and asked what he could do to make it right. I said, "a free meal." He looked at all of our plates with indignation and asked how each of us liked our food. We told him, and I could see he was not happy with us - the customer. I asked that my husband's meal be free and we would just pack our leftovers up and go. We needed some to-go boxes. She brought us tiny boxes to cram the food into. So, for a place that is mediocre, unfriendly, and like an icebox, I say, "Get a clue, keep your money and...
Read moreAfter coming by myself a few weeks prior and having a great experience at the bar, I was looking forward to bringing my family here soon after. We had our chance on a Thursday night but was turned away at 6:30pm because: 1.) It was Trvia night and half the restaurant is dedicated to it. We were told we could not sit on that side unless we were playing. 2.) The other half was reserved for a private event that, although wasn't happening at the time and resulting in many empty tables, it was still off limits 3). We didn't want to sit on a 90+ degree patio that reeked of cigarettes when we walked in and 4.)We had our 2 year old so the bar was out of the question. There should have been a sign on the door that said "Patio Only" but we'll know better next time if we decide to come back. I still had such a great experience by myself at the bar the one time prior, so we'll see. RESPONSE: Letting a party reserve the only remaining tables during a popular, scheduled event and turning remaining people/families away at 6:30PM is just bad business. We're consistently told by restaurants that labor and supply shortages are crippling the industry yet we run into these situations often and left scrambling to figure out what to feed the family. Hard to have sympathy for those who act like they don't want or need...
