FACTS: We decided to come back to El Dorado Furniture because of Trish’s excellent customer service, knowledgeable advice, and thorough answers to our questions. The employees greeted us as soon as we walked in and were attentive. Somehow, Trish is ALWAYS magically presented at the right moments, answering our questions whenever we needed help. We are satisfied with Trish’s customer transparency. She was patient, listened actively, acknowledged our frustrations, and clearly & effectively answering our questions. Trish’s politeness helps made us felt respected. The whole purchase process was easy, thanks to Trish’s recognition of our needs and wants. Read moresalesman was really good and a cute pup! all staff was very nice. I LOVE the contemporary furniture lines! LOVE it. It is bright, clean, it POPS! Got the features I want and so reasonably priced. The chair is more than I even imagined in fabric, color, texture. LOVE it. The recliner was exactly what I wanted, no electric cords, nice leather, sleek adjustable headrest. I don't need or have room for coffee table but want side table, none there, so I'll go online. I will go again as I love the style and bright colors and modern design. Definitely will go again *just read the reviews. The responses seemed "canned", as "we strive to WOW but it seems we didn't with you.....etc". Not good! Makes me sad...so I promise I will be back with review. My salesman told me to check out furniture when delivered and I did buy warranty on Recliner....have used one previously. So we'll see, I am hopeful as they are a FL company and I want them to stay! F/U. 3/16. Supposed to have my furniture delivered this AM, changed to PM, OK no problem and I was ready. DIDN'T arrive, called and talked to receptionist. at 6:45pm. He said it was coming from Miami, a lie as I was told there was a warehouse in Tampa. He said now it would be to me by 8:00PM. It is now 8:19 PM and it is not in my house! OK, no clue what time I will have now! I wonder if they are going out of business. This shoddy kind of customer service tells me this! I was looking at the 7-800 desk chair! I don't think so. They are doing great in Miami, but I guess not...

Original Review: I recently purchased a leather power couch from El Dorado Furniture in St. Petersburg, FL. The couch we purchased, in under 30 days, developed many issues. We sent pictures to our salesman Herman and he said the couch is defective and has never seen anything like this in his many years in the furniture business. El Dorado sent a third party furniture tech to examine the couch. The service technician explicitly informed both my wife and me that repairing this couch was not possible. Additionally, he mentioned his belief that the couch had been used prior to my ownership. Unfortunately, El Dorado proposed solution of a new frame will not resolve the following issues: The leather has developed a peachy color in certain areas. The leather surfaces of the couch have stretched, resulting in unsightly wrinkles throughout. The left side of the couch is no longer aligned with the right side. There is a noticeable 1 3/4" drop on the left side compared to the right side. The couch is completely misaligned. I have attached photos showcasing all of these problems. El Dorado wants us to wait 15 to 20 weeks just to end up in the same situation we are currently in.
