Brunos Bakery — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

I am a nurse for St.Anthony's Hospital and my team and I are sometimes treated with Bruno's Bakery by the "world's BEST patient!" The pastry selection sent by Bruno's is so overwhelming gorgeous and definitely one of the highlights of our day! Today we received SIX boxes of the most lovely cookies, claws, muffins, turnovers, and more. Everyone was able to happily have seconds (or thirds!) with their generous portions and raved about how delicious they were! I loved the turnovers the best. The flakey crust and sweet filling was a treat during busy patient care, especially after a quick 10 seconds in the microwave for a quick little warm up. I'll be taking a muffin and some cookies home for later...

Forgot to do this when we went and visited them!!! Me and my family stayed in Indian Rocks Beach for spring break and we were in St. Petersburg for a couple days and one morning we stopped here and this is by far my FAVORITE bakery i’ve ever been to! The lady that helped us (Think her name was melissa) was the sweetest lady ever and gave us recommendations on places to go and talked to us for a while about the cities and surrounding cities and things to do! It’s a very cute family owned business everything is made from scratch right there ih their store! And the pastries….. OMG!! We got just about every single one they had and they were all gone by the next morning!!! And they gave us a free cookie for every person in my group!!! Hey folks, I was looking for a fried egg sandwich on my way home this morning. I didn't realize that the bakery next door to my favorite pizzeria had changed management to the dynamic duo family team of Raymond and Michelle. Raymond is the cook/baker making all the deliciousness at Bruno's and Michelle is the heart that makes going a real treat. The sandwich was awesome and Michelle threw in a free loaf of bread which I'm dying to try, I'm a little stuffed though at the moment from the sandwich... maybe later for lunch I'll try the loaf. Great news though is that, I finally found a new home to get a freshly made fried egg sandwich, the best part is they are literally 10 minutes away.
