I have to admit I didn't know what to think when first walking in. I've been to a lot of smoke shops in my day and it starts to turn into that age old dilemma of "if you've seen one you've seen em all." And it's true to a degree, but there's usually something unique to set it apart from the rest. What makes this one different? First, the vibe. There's a general energy in this space that's both relaxing, welcoming and also professional. Many stores tend to keep a single clerk at the front who you can tell is counting the minutes till the shift change. Or you'll get the slacker who can't be bothered to even say the words customer service let alone make an effort to embody them. Well here they have mastered the art of finding an equilibrium. There's a balance. On entering there were three staff members who greeted us immediately and made sure that if we had any questions we knew that they were there. For the most part, they let us be and allowed us to simply explore the store and take it in. Look around and actually make a mental inventory of what they do. Carry what they don't take a moment to laugh at some of the funny things in between. I always like that and respect that when it comes to being in a shop, especially a small business because sometimes the owner/ operator be a little too overzealous in keeping company with the customer. In any event, my friends found exactly what they were looking for and then some. It's safe to say that smoke Brothers has a large selection of a variety of products for any use you could possibly want in your smoking or vaping needs. Being the internal bargain hunter die hard deal demon that I am. If there's one thing I know it's price points, discounts, wholesale cost, retail value, and then there's the number down below where I choose to pay. Never pay full price is my motto. Well that motto was not an issue in this store. Stock was fairly priced and they had some pretty good sales going on at the time, especially on the disposable vapes my friend had initially entered for. All in all I would say their prices are comparable to the competition in the area and in most cases even better. The gentleman who helped us and checked us out at the register were very nice, personable and they never once gave a customer service experience NOT worth bragging about. I have to say this was my first visit and it won't be my last. Personally for me when you mix quality value. Affordability and wrap that into a package with a staff member who's ready to make your random stop an experience... That's a rare commodity worth hanging on for in business nowadays. I’m a big fan of the Kratom gummies and initially he didn’t even carry them . I told him the brand and he started getting them in and we had worked out a price . Since then I’ve spent a lot of money in this store on other items but he tried raising the price substantially on the gummies out of nowhere. It just seems silly to me to lose a customer over a dollar or two . I’ve spent at least 100 a week in that store on vapes , nitrous and other goods . I would have been a customer for life had he stayed true on the agreement we had . Very disappointing… I really commend the owner here because he reached out to make things right and that goes a long way with me . Oh boy where do I even start! Smoke brothers a brand new smoke shop in St.Petersburg Fl, lemme tell you this place is astonishing super clean and modernized, it’s not just a copy and paste like all the others. They’ve got awesome things like snacks and drinks from all around the world which no one else in the area has, Artwork, shoes, clothes and some beautiful glass made from local artist and a section for foreign glass. Prices are great especially on things like fumes and smoke needs/supplies but most importantly the Man behind the counter is super nice, funny and will throw you deals if you spend with him.
