Dec 2022: I went on Sunday rather than Friday. Much less crowded compared to Friday. Still a lot of people, but manageable. Enjoyable browsing/shopping and still interesting selection on Sunday. One of the owners stated in the Facebook live preview that dogs are welcome. This seems Ill advised given how crowded it is and the arrangement and number of items in the space. Seemed like an odd thing to put out there.
Sept 2022: Pros -Fun atmosphere for the Friday Night preview, live music, beverages, and snacks. Well staffed and well organized at check in, on the floor, and at check out. Friendly staff. Excellent selection and layout. Prices generally about what I expected except for a few items. Cons: Too many people. I did not like that additional people were allowed to pay at the door to get in on the day on Friday. Albeit for $10 and not $5. It is supposed to be a pre paid event (Friday preview) with a limited number of people, but I did not sense much of a limit. Oh, and the woman with two kids in the absolutely huge canvas covered wagon thing that took up the width of the aisles and was many feet long - come on now. There needs to be restrictions on those...
Read moreI cannot say enough wonderful things about Vintage Marche in St. Pete. The variety here is incredible—you can find everything from charming vintage décor and furniture to quirky, one-of-a-kind treasures that you won’t see anywhere else. It’s a true adventure for anyone who loves to browse and discover something special.
But what really touched me wasn’t just the amazing selection—it was the people. While visiting, my son experienced a mini seizure. In that moment of fear and uncertainty, the staff showed the kind of compassion you don’t forget. From the manager to the floor staff to the sweet ladies working in the café, everyone rushed to help, checked on us, and made sure we felt safe and supported. Their kindness and empathy turned a scary situation into a reminder that there are still good, caring people in the world.
Supporting businesses like Vintage Marche is an easy choice. They’re not just a place to shop—they’re a community with heart. I’m deeply grateful for the way they treated my family, and I’ll be a loyal customer for life. Highly recommend visiting, not only for the treasures but for the truly wonderful people...
Read moreI've bought numerous items from Vintage Marche over the years, back before they were in their current location! There is always so much to look at, so give yourself some time.
A few things: Yes it gets crowded, especially on Saturdays! If you're like me and get a bit anxious, Saturday is NOT the day for you. Prices are not thrift store prices! The vendors here put a lot of effort into making Marche what it is, so expect to spend a few bucks. There literally is something for EVERY budget here. I've spent anywhere between $2 and $400 and it was for something I loved each time. Its constantly changing which is great! New items are added daily. THEY ARE ONLY OPEN ONCE A MONTH! So many people leaving bad reviews because they can't read and show up when they're closed. Definitely check out their social media and when they do live streams before they open, that way you can see if theres anything you need to beeline for upon arrival.
