My father was admitted on November 27, 2022 for severe confusion due to a very rapid and aggressive Alzheimer’s. Permanent placement was discussed with Megan Ashlock bc of my Dad being so severe, that is just wasn’t realistic to try and care for him ourselves. For a week, placement was discussed and I was adamant that my Dad not be placed in Geriatric Psych after Megan kept mentioning it. Every day my Dad my in your care, Megan came to his room to speak with me. The only day she didn’t was on December 2nd. I went to her office and we spoke on placement. She expressed that she had tried everywhere and the only place with a bed would be at Geriatric Psych in Sikeston (two hours way from us all). We immediately said no. I told Megan that my sister and I would discuss it and get back with her. She and I quote said, “sounds good, just let me know what you want to do.” What she didn’t tell us, is that she had already had set everything into motion for our Dad to be transferred to Sikeston and had already called in someone to start a court order (because Megan didn’t know how). We had no clue until the third party came in to execute the court order. We also found out that Megan could have had him court ordered to where we wanted him all along…a Veteran’s facility. Megan knew that’s where we wanted him. She had every opportunity to tell us she had already had the wheels turning for Sikeston and bc we were against it, she was devious in keeping that information from us. Our Dad was ripped from his hospital room and from us on December 2nd at 10:00pm. Two hours away with visitation limitations of two hours a day. She stole our time with him. Literally stole that from us. For an entire month, my Dad deteriorated and we tried his entire duration there to get him moved. Our time ran out on this past Wednesday on January 12. My Dad passed away in that horrible place. Two hours away. Only seeing his family for two hours, once a week. She stole what time we had left. I’m not saying she is the reason for his death, but had she had him court ordered near us as we requested, we would have had more time to spend with him. He was our father. A VETERAN and our family is very upset with her deviousness (bc that’s...
Read moreSt. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital "Women Wellness Center " Everyone made me feel very comfortable and the doctor wanted me to have a blood test. They took me to a conference room, Mary crecelius came in and took my blood, it took less then 10 minutes. When I received the bill everything was fine except the consultation charge over 300 from the Mary Crecelius who took my blood. The blood test was less then the consultation charge, I was told there's another consultation charge to get the test results. When I ask the billing department why is there a consultation charge for a blood test the person told me because we can.
It's been almost a year, I had to pay 250 dollars to the office that did the testing on my blood test. I called to have them send my test results but was told Mary Crecelius has my results. Will she charges over $300 for a consultation fee to...
Read moreMy mother-in-law, Dixie Orrick was admitted to the hospital on 12/22/22. We brought her in through the ER, from there it was determined she needed at least an overnight stay. We moved here from STL where they have award winning hospitals but to tell the truth, none compare to the care, kindness and cleanliness that SGCMH offers. On a day where most of MO was under a state of blizzard conditions, the ER was organized, caring and respectful of my 93 year old mother-in-law. Once admitted her RN, DeDe, was knowledgeable of caring for "our treasure" she loves what she does and it certainly shows. Her CNA Jordan took time, listened and was very swift to follow any instructions from RN DeDe or requests from Dixie. Checking her out the following evening was quick and seamless. We want to thank SGCMH for the professionalism and kindness shown...
