Sleepy Hollow Sleep Shop — Local services in Salem

I purchased a Queen box springs and bed frame from Sleepy Hollow Sleep Shop in Salem Ohio. The frame was poorly made with crooked interior slats that left gaps plus the slats were bowed upwards. Their delivery charges were too high so I hired a local mover to deliver the items to my condo. When we got it into the house we discovered all the issues. I contacted Sleepy Hollow and sent them pictures. They agreed it was poorly made and that they would replace it. They would not reimburse me the money I had already spent for delivery nor would they deliver the replacement. I was offered two choices. O e was that I bring I. They said my only other option was to use their private delivery service which they hire out and the cost would be $65.00. Don' t buy anything from this company unless you enjoy really bad customer service. Once the sale is made and the money is received, they treat you like dirt. They will not even call you to confirm their delivery date and then when you call them and get a time and date, they don't show up. You call them and they give you the cable television treatment. They tell you they'll show up when they want, sometime between x and y. Mattresses are expensive and we got a top line model. To then expect your customers to sit around and wait all day for delivery is not right. We could have bought it from the big, new chain store in town. But we decided to go with the local company.
