Maurices — Local services in Salem

I have to be honest, before this most recent time; I have never had anything but positive experiences with Maurices in Salem. The same two women who were always extremely helpful and polite when I was spending money there; were extremely rude and not at all helpful when I asked a question about a late fee on my credit card statement(which was paid in the store, in person and on time). I was basically told there was absolutely nothing they could do in the store and I needed to call the credit card company, which I did. I quickly learned that it was a mistake(on the stores part) and there wasn’t a late charge. Sadly, I was treated SO poorly I will never shop there again. I have shopped with Maurices for years (spending hundreds of dollars yearly). I purchased a pair of Capri jeans (not their cheaper line) from this location and wore the maybe 4x. They fit loosely and really liked them. Put them on today and the tore a spot about 6 inches long up alongside the back pocket. Clearly defective in the material. I didn't have my receipt or tags as I had them for a few months and discarded them after the first wash and wear. They refused to return/exchange them even when you could clearly see they were in like new condition and the material tore in a manner showing defect. Not good customer service! You've...
