1st time was a great experience! Our 2nd time however was not enjoyable. Had dinner there last night and it was the worst experience by far. I ordered the hibachi chicken which was so salty that I couldn't even eat more than a couple bites, but that was okay because we all have our off days right? Then we didnt even get our soups and salads. So I asked the waitress about it and she said she forgot and that she would give them to us now which is after we already were halfway through our meal so she ended up giving them to us in to go cups. Also was brought someone else appetizers then we when told her it was not ours she takes it from our table and hands it to the customer that ordered them even after they were sitting on our table for atleast 10 minutes. Gross. Waitress was rushing us when we were ordering and just not very patient. When I go to a restaurant and spend over $100 on a dinner I expect better service. Will definitely be contemplating ever going back again. Sushi was...
Read moreSo much to say...but I'll try to keep it short and to the point. It's a wonder that they have 4.4 stars honestly, but I suppose it depends with what there is to compare around. If you are reading this and are used to a JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE, this is not it. The GOOD: generous portions -yum-yum sauce tastes good (although it doesn't taste like they make it in house, more of the store-bought taste, could be wrong) -Presentation on sushi is good (more on this later)
The BAD: -Got the food and wife said it smelled funky. Didn't think much about it, until we got home. As we were setting the table I noticed what she was talking about.,.... and it was the chicken. YIKES! It was definitely the chicken. Hibachi chicken and Chicken Soba - both have a bland taste, not much flavor Sushi - we ordered two different rolls, one hot and one cold. They were packed together (WTH) Stir fry veggies were soggy
One and done here. I hope management will take note on possible...
Read moreThere's really no courteous way to say this, so I will simply state facts. Upon entering the restaurant, there is a strong and unmistakable odor. The odor is very unhygienic and resembles that of a sewage problem. I wanted to leave immediately but didn't want to appear rude. I have a "people-pleasing" issue, so understand that this was a true internal struggle to stay and eat.
My spouse and I ordered the hibachi chicken. It was OK. I asked for Splenda for my unsweetened iced tea, but all they had was Sweet N Low. The server was polite, but she didn't check on us after a few minutes as most servers do. I needed additional sauce, so I approached the cooking station and asked the chef for some, which he kindly provided.
It's a very nicely set up place with a large chandelier, mood lighting at the sushi station and a nice size bar. It just literally smells badly and for that, we...
