I can't say enough great things about the team at Keepsake Custom Tattoo & Body Piercing! This was my first tattoo so the entire process was new to me. I came across Keepsake after a bunch of online research. Wanting a remembrance/memorial tattoo, it was important to me to have a custom design that embodied my vision/request. I submitted my design idea online and was contacted by Jon the manager within 30 minutes. He was phenomenal - walking me through the process, guiding me in decisions, and even emailing me some different tattoo styles while I was on the phone. From there, he suggested that Jon S. be my artist based off of my preferences aligning with his experience and his expertise in realism.

My appointment was scheduled quickly and Jon had everything prepared for when I arrived. He had some different sizing options and we talked about placement prior to getting the work going. The entire tattoo experience was perfect with a comfortable environment, extremely friendly and engaging staff, and a high level of cleanliness. Most importantly, Jon absolutely nailed my tattoo design which I am so happy with!!! He is incredibly talented! He also explained aftercare and the full healing process went by without any hiccups.

Probably some of the BEST customer service I have ever received! About a week ago, I had my tragus pierced on both sides (not @ Keep Sake). I was having an issue cleaning them because the barbells used were really short and I couldn’t get around them to clean them well. Needless to say, they weren’t being cleaned as well as I wanted and were still very sensitive to the touch, almost as if they were on their way to being infected. THEN somehow, in my sleep last night, I managed to yank the stud back in through the piercing. It was lodged in there and there was no way I was getting it out on my own.

I stopped by Keep Sake today to have them take a look. I was greeted with smiles and was brought in right away so Joe could take a look. He was able to get the barbell out that I had pulled through and replaced BOTH of my piercings with new longer barbells that screw in on the front and not the back like the ones I had. I am not going to say there wasn’t any pain but it was minimal and Joe was easy when changing them out. He changed his gloves any time he touched anything that wasn’t my ear, explained what he was doing as he was doing it and showed me how to clean them.

When I asked what I owed I was told with a smile that I was all set and he was sorry that I had to go through that experience. I couldn’t stop smiling on my way home and my piercings feel SO MUCH better already. It’s as though I can almost feel them healing.

My wife and I both got out first tattoos at Keepsake. We did plenty of “online research” reading reviews and looking at artists work. Keepsake has a large social media presence and the tattoos spoke volumes.

From the first call we felt comfortable. Contact was done via email which at first I was taken back by as I felt email is so impersonal for something so personal. Quickly realized they really listened and read the emails. Looking back it was a great way to document exactly what we wanted.

We received nice text messages keeping apprised of the appointment we made for our tattoos.

Building was easy to find, plenty of parking. The building is shared with a barber shop. And we were not 100% sure where to go instantly however were quickly informed they were up the stairway.

At the top of the stairs immediately greeted and we knew we were at the right place. The decor was absolutely fun from coke memorabilia to tongue and cheek tin signs and absolutely clean.

Mara our artist met us in the lobby and showed us different sizes and an option we had not thought of!

We went to the studio where there was music playing, clean equipment and just a fun atmosphere. The actual tattoo process seemed to be over in minutes versus over an hour.

Absolutely an amazing experience and will be emailing them shortly for the next “keepsake”...
