On June 9th 2024 at 2:32pm I me and my wife went to Mar Val at Valley Springs and the check out girl named Olivia was very rude she did not say anything to us and while checking in groceries she was so busy talking with her next lane checker she would actually stop and turn around to talk to her about some personal stuff and after spending over $170.00 for grocery she did not even help us bag the groceries my wife and I did the bagging and she did not even say thank you she is very rude and does not even interact with the customer she is not good for the business of Mar Val they need to have good talk to her about good customer service skills I hope that management of the store read...

Valley Springs Mar-Val always helps the local community with generously letting sports/scouts/4-H and other events fund raise. Very special grocery with a true community spirit. They always celebrate holidays which brings a lot of joy to kids in town: Halloween decorations, Christmas craft fair in front of the store, photo-op times during some holidays etc. Mitch does a great job managing the store and tomorrow there will be happy scouts due to his generosity! P.S. Try their excellent sushi (the best!), deli sandwiches and fantastic tri-tip they BBQ...

Mar Val has progressively gone down in the last six or seven months. The produce isn't a high quality. If you intend on cooking right away it isn’t too bad but the unbagged fruits and vegetables don’t last like other markets farther away’s produce will. The Butcher of late has taken to repacking meats, dropping items we’d buy weekly and cutting down portions (labeled “thin cut”). The Staff is always helpful and nice to deal with. I wont call MarVal expensive but what you get, for what you pay, is not...
