THIS STORE DOES NOT SUPPORT DISABLED PEOPLE OR ELDERLY PEOPLE!!! THEY WILL HARASS YOUR DISABLED FAMILY MEMBER WHEN THEY SHOP!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I have a lot to say about this heb. First I will start off with how rude and unprofessional heb managers are. I’ve seen the way they treat their elderly handicapped customers. They treat them like they are criminals and make it seem like they’re stealing purposely. They even make them get off of the scooters when they are waiting for a ride. The person who would make them get off would be the managers I’ve seen it on multiple occasions. Then when I first moved to this side over year ago. I have no car I had to walk and shop there. Well when I first went there manager and his multiple employees where following me around, acting like I was going to steal something. I felt extremely uncomfortable, I have very bad anxiety I tried to pay no attention to it. Cause I thought it was all in my head. Thinking they’re where just walking around. But when my father came to visit me, he would go to the closet heb location to shop. He said they were following him as well. When my father goes to shop he forgets some things and goes back in to get it. He was even stopped by a manager asking him what he bought. My dad would have to show them his receipt. They would tell him that the item he just went back in for was not on the receipt. My dad told them that he was going to the register to pay for it when they stopped him. So they would really confuse him and make him feel very uncomfortable. We’ve spoken to the manager multiple occasions and they said they had to keep following him cause he stolen before. Which isn’t true by the way we’ve been an heb customer for years at different locations and never had this type of problem before, til I moved to this side of town. I even asked them if they had it on camera and they said yes. I asked them I would like to see it on camera then. that way I’ll know it’s true, they said no that they couldn’t show me. So I don’t believe them it seems like it’s a he said she said type of thing. Makes me so upset that managers at this location lacks the professionalism that is needed for this store. These managers need retraining or to be replaced. If I could shop at the other heb locations I would if I had a car. But looks like I would have to take my business somewhere else. I am in and out of your store always and usually love this store it’s quite honestly my favorite even compared to the plus stores. Today my family and I went through self check out and I was stopped at the side door and was told because my son was taking groceries out of the bag it was suspicious and my cart needed to be checked. I asked why that was suspicious and was told only thieves walk through the side door with groceries.. I always walk out of this door because I park my car on that side and have never thought about it. I gave your door person my receipt and she walked off. I didn’t know what was going on if she was getting a manager the police what but I was highly embarrassed because now here I am standing in the middle of an entrance with my children as if I was some criminal for the store to watch. I asked the team members in your floral department to call a manager. Your manager comes out has no idea what’s going on and automatically sticks up for the team member without any knowledge of the situation. He then checks my basket and says well nothing was stolen again on display for the entire store to see. I am mortified and completely embarrassed. She treated my husband and I like we were garbage!!! She told us to get out of her line because she was 15 items or less. But she didn't know that her front end manager had detected us to her line. She continued to give us attitude even though we told her that we were detected by her manager. She then proceeded to call for bagging assistance to show that we were a burden to her. I told her we would bag our own groceries. She was upset that I said that and over scanned the soups we were purchasing for another household. She got even more upset and huff'd that she had to correct her mistake. I had to take a step back because it was getting harder to be in her presence. I walker over to her manager and expressed my anger on just how horrible she had treated us. This is extremely unacceptable! I used to work for HEB and I never treated anyone like that!!! It took everything in my power now to reach over and slap the $#!? out of her!!! She needs a different profession!!!!! P.S.
