Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in San Antonio

I’m giving 2 stars because the manager tonight was so sweet. He needs to fire and find new hires. I’m an assistant manager at a fast food chain and many things I saw were ridiculous. The little girl taking my order sounded sweet as a button. However, once I was at the window (her mistake was leaving the window open) I watched her take a simple combo order after mine and completely roll her eyes and sigh like that one combo was so difficult. Following that… I heard her talk badly about me.. she was laughing about how I wanted extra pickles so “she gave me extra pickles”… sweetie you couldn’t have put enough to make it ridiculous.. joke is on you! She remembered my extra pickles but didn’t put not one cocktail sauce for my kid’s order when I asked for extra of that.. I had to park and walk up just to get what I asked for. Plus the boy that ran the order to the car in front of me that was parked.. well he decided to vape at the door in front of me like he had no cares in the world and a line wasn’t behind me. At least go to your car or run out some trash and do that. Very unprofessional to do that at the door in front of a drive thru line. This is only my second time at this Popeyes and it wasn’t my first bad experience. It’s time to clean house guys. Food tasted...

Placed my order at 5:27 pm for pickup. When we got to the restaurant at 6:12 pm the drive thru was completely empty but they still told us to park and come in to pickup our order. They did not have the order ready and started to pack it when we got there. The manager did nothing but refill mashed potato containers until she finally came over and said sorry I have 5 trainees here. Then why not help them? Or train them? Why not pack the order yourself? The order wasn't ready until 6:40pm. We start driving down the street and realized they did not give us our shrimp box and have to turn around and go back. Go back in at 6:45pm only to find that they never even dropped the shrimp in the first place. Didn't get our full order until 7:01pm. Team members didn't smile or make eye contact. Even the ones that weren't trainees didn't care. Especially the manager. They are training their employees to just stand there and do nothing and not care about the customer. The manager eventually apologized and said she gave us some extra shrimp. Is that supposed to makeup for the hour and a half it took for our order...

We ordered $6 box chicken leg and thigh, chicken strips, 2 mash potatoes, red beans and rice. We also ordered 2 LG drinks. We were charged for 2 LG drinks but got 2 mediums.. the hateful boy had the nerve to say they were large. We order here all the time. They gave me chicken breast and wing. We took the order back in. The female manager or whatever she was.. very rude. This manager snatch the reciept out of my hand... She lied I know what we ordered. Y'all better watch the size of your drinks. We paid for Large and got medium. This is a Breach of contract in legal terms. Since the manager was very rude to us.. well guess what I'm going to sue y'all for a Breach of contract. Please if y'all go to this location make sure they are giving you what you paid for!!? They need to fire that boy in drive thru and the female Manager on duty. This so call Manager doesn't have enough common sense to be manager. The boy in drive thru needs to retrained. They need to close this place down. I'll see y'all in court !! I won't get much but it's the principle...
