iStorage — Local services in San Antonio

As a military family, we move often and sometimes with little notice. A couple years ago, we arrived to San Antonio and found this storage complex. It was convenient to our home, and we found an online special to hold our items for a short bit while we moved in. This year, we returned and found another great online deal and opted for the temperature-controlled units as we received short-notice orders, we were just hauling everything over. All of our questions are promptly answered and any issues are handled quickly. Lately with all the rains, our first unit experienced some water puddling, and we were given a new unit. Sometimes it matters to know how a company treats you when things go wrong, not just when its uneventful. With the area having widespread flooding, they were understanding and helpful and we had few damaged items. We had insurance for our items but it was so minimal, we opted to forgo the few photo albums. The new unit was even better and they helped us with pallets just in case, and then we just this week had the devastating flooding in the area again, and this unit was dry dry dry. So if you need a place for your items, where they care about your needs, and they remedy things should anything go wrong, this is the place. I recommend as a military family with LOTS of experience with storage facilities. Also, Amanda in the front is just AMAZING. We are so lucky she looks out for the customers and makes sure we had a great experience, thank you!! Can't help when it rains or pours, but this company keeps you afloat....

Made a reservation over the phone but ended up going with a different company due to better location/prices. I NEVER signed the rental agreement, came to the property to move in or even got to the point of being assigned a unit yet when i called to ask for a refund since services were NEVER rendered they refused to do so. Essentially making me pay for something i NEVER received. I could understand if i moved in , OR signed the rental agreement OR even received a unit already but none of those things occurred. Despite trying to resolve this with the “property manager” She was rude and indifferent as if they werent wrongfully STEALING My money and attempting to have me pay for something i never received. She tried to say it was in the lease agreement but how can i be legally obligated to contractual terms i NEVER SIGNED OR FORMALLY AGREED TO ?? Their practices are deceitful and blatantly illegal . I am happy i went with another company . Am reporting to the bbb for fraudulent practices . Save your money and find a different...

I had a space for an easy couple of years. Had no problem really other than the attitude of Rosanna. I use to call her a bulldog with lipstick. For whatever reason, i do not know this lady is never happy, never smiles, doesn't like people and should never be in contact with the public. Who ever pick her to manage the business has there head up there. What is this company doing. I will tell you this! The young man I talked to when I decided to move out Nathan was very accommodating and professional. He even suggested moving to another Right Space location to save the business. I tip my hat to that man. In all fairness it takes work to keep a customer. And so easy to lose.
