Shopping hunters rejoice! So much to see. I only went through twice and on my second round I found multiple things that I did not see on the first round. For a "Professional Shopping Hunter" this is normal. You have to comb the area at least two times and if possible in the opposite direction lol. And if I had more time I would have done three rounds LOL. Met Roberto who was very helpful and we were able to actually converse with him about special finds in our lives. Great talking to someone who appreciates the things that you do. Also went next door. They are linked by a doorway where his sister Blanca has a shop. This brother and sister know how to shop and you won't be sorry with the things they have found. There are also a few other dealers here. Each bringing their own special finds or creations. I'm actually making a plan to go back for something already. Roberto and Blanca were incredibly friendly and easy to converse with. But I'm telling you the goodies in there will delight even the most discriminating taste. Prices were very affordable. Parking can be a little bit of a nightmare, but you can't get into the dream without going through the nightmare LOL. Find a space. Check on some of the side streets that allow for parking. Excellent shop for those who don’t have time to be searching high and low for quality vintage pieces! Lots of mid-century modern at lower prices than most curated dealers or specialty booths in antique malls, but much higher than thrift or “hidden treasure” type antique stores. Roughly $300 for a set of 4 reupholstered or great-condition original dining chairs, and anywhere from $500-$1000 for a dining table and chairs set. This store has the most amazing mid-century furniture in town! Great prices and a very cool array of unique pieces. I cannot say enough good things about the owners Roberto and Blanco. They are so genuine and kind to everyone who steps into their shop. You can just tell how much they care about their customers. Its so refreshing to find this gem in the city of San Antonio. If you haven't stopped in yet, do it quickly! We just love San Antonio...
