The Junction Antiques — Local services in San Antonio

I just visited this establishment no more than 10 min ago with my bf. Despite some cool findings; and plenty of things to check out, I found my first visit and first impression to be less than favourable. Within the 30 minutes or so we were there, we were constantly followed and check upon in a tone from the shop owner that gave the impression that she felt we were of questionable character and as though we were trying to steal. Another couple who were much younger were asked a couple of times if they "were finding everything ok". Yet, she actually asked us twice within 2 min while browsing in a small little section. After being asked 5 times within the short time, we made our way towards the front of the store near the register. My bf was looking at some curios and she asked him again, if he was finding" everything ok". Then still in plain site of her as we looked at a sofa, still by the same area, she approached us both AGAIN, asking if we're "finding everything ok." We looked about 10 more min and were by the register looking at tshirts, which there there was one I was actually wanting to buy for $12 and a couple of vintage cassette, but by this time I felt so uncomfortable, we decided to leave. After we walked out, we stood facing the other shops across the street, questioning if we wanted to visit. At that point we heard the shop door open and the owner stood there staring and watching us by our car, which I didn't notice but my bf did. I am 49 years old and may not look it, but have been in customer for over 30 years and in management, and found their customer service found very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I will not be recommending this place and will let my FB friends...

Well, if you're looking for a fun shop that sells antiques and unique items than look no further than The Jumction Antiques. Inside is full of rare and cool items, from floor to ceiling. Visit often because you never know what you'll find. This store is particularly cool in that they rent space out to different merchants. At the time of this post they had no space available. I loved what they had in this shop! But i disliked the attitude of the employee or the owner whoever that was working. She needs to go to customer service class or something. My mother and i were constantly being followed around the store like we were 5 years old. All she was good at doing was spreading beans on her chalupa (she was eating the whole time we were there which was about an hour) and following us around the store... In my opinion you have no business owning a store if you cant talk to...
