Absolutely disgusted by the way the "athletic director" started harassing the opposite team because they started winning. He said that the people sitting on this side could not cheer for the other team. I am not a parent for either school. I sat on this side to try to stay out of this sun due to a medical condition. I have photosensitivity to sunlight & need to minimize exposure. The lack of professionalism and the display of poor sportsmanship by a member of administration to 2 senior citizens, someone recovering from cancer and 3 children is absolutely shameful. The disrespect was unnecessary. We all paid to get into this game. Discrimination at its finest. Mr.Bell does not own the stadium. I believe that's what he said his name is. He was shouting and spitting as he talked. We asked him to be Christian and understand that these are all children. He continued until that family left. Please train your administration about setting the example. There are no sides in the Catholic school community I was educated in. We are all on the same team for the Lord. The principal needs to hold her husband to a...
Read moreWe attended 10:15 mass there recently. It was the first time I'd been back in 20 years as we moved away. Wife and I really liked Father Pat. He was engaging, funny, and the message was good. There were a lot of changes from when I used to alter serve in my youth. The choir was down on the floor instead of in the choir loft so they were more engaging. Same with where the priests sit, up front near the congregation instead of behind the alter. They have projectors to have song sheet music and lyrics on the walls instead of everyone heads down in the hymnal. The people were friendly like always. The seats have cushions!!! The family center is really nice as we enjoyed tacos, coffee, and OJ. The gymn was rebuilt a few years ago and looks really nice though we didn't get to go inside. There are lots of mass options for...
Read moreI am from Corpus Christi & l moved to San Antonio here last year. My great nephew attends school here so I wanted to start attending mass here. I called office and asked a few questions & was informed they had rosary's I could have if Id like. This morning I attempted to attain a rosary since I had given mine to a person in need. I was so disappointed at to the reaction of Me asking for a "rosary". Upset to the point of crying in my car and visiably shaken that a St Pius employee was kind enough to listen to my concerns. I was also informed for Me to contact a group of ladies that made the rosary💁♂️. I know I was being tested but my Father's love is greater than all. St.Pius is a beautiful church and one incident will not stop Me...
