If they would let me, I'd live at Hearthstone.....truly and no joke, but alas that is not allowed so I'll just have to settle with eating there as much as my pocketbook will allow. I've never had a bad anything from them. My son loves sandwiches and always orders the sandwich of the month or an old favorite. Even with questionable combinations like cranberry-pesto spread on a sandwich was a great idea! It was a mayonnaise-like spread with just a hint of cranberry and it was delicious. Everything tastes homemade and you get good portions for your money. A personal favorite is the triple chocolate Belgian waffles. You wouldn't think several small waffles on your plate would do the job but they do. Many places, you can order the exact meal every day and get it prepared a hundred different ways or different portions and you wonder what the heck they're doing back there. Not at Hearthstone, every item is the same at anytime you order it. Consistency is the key here. I've not expanded my horizons much and I pretty much stick to the breakfast meals when I can get them, they're by far my favorite and the best. I've had the tortilla soup- delicious. It wasn't any saltier then any other tortilla soup I've had, and I've had my fair share. I've ordered the breakfast bowl, dessert (bread pudding, creme brulee, etc) and the wedge salad- all excellent! Once, I ordered a breakfast muffin from them I think, on an English muffin, when I got it I thought it was wrong. English muffins are small though... the price was around $5, that's about the same as some stale, under- the -heat- lamps- too- long, breakfast sandwich from some fast food place but surely doesn't taste the same. The breakfast sandwich was correct with fresh eggs, bacon, and cheese. You won't find that at McDonald's et al. I don't consider myself a breakfast connoisseur but I do know a thing or two about breakfasts. Hearthstone is reasonably priced and the restaurant is clean, bright, and well-maintained. The associates are always polite, considerate and just an overall pleasure. This is a little tucked away gem of a restaurant that may get overlooked but it shouldn't as its worth a look. You won't be...

  • Experience* I have always seen this place from the street but I have never entered to try it out. It has a great atmosphere and it seems kind of classy inside. Overall it's pretty nice in there. I would go again.

  • Customer service* So if you have read my reviews, you know that I am big on customer service. Here when you order something you're more than likely going to have to go get the food yourself. And you're going to have to grab all your condiments. At least that's how it was for my service.

  • Overall * The outside was nice and the inside was amazing. My overall experience with a place is five stars. Although at one point during my visits I need a napkins and had to get back up and get some. All good though. Still a great experience.

Hope...

Very cute atmosphere, awful customer service. It was our first visit there and we will not be back. We asked for a Bloody Mary and they said they were not making drinks yet, it was 12 pm. Instead we ordered a beer which turned out to be expired. My husband could taste the difference with one sip. Instead of apologizing or trying to fix the problem, the manager Gary S. was argumentative and rude. The food is very basic, nothing spectacular at all. I ordered a sandwich that said #1 best seller on the menu which turned out to be a plain croissant with shredded lettuce and sliced turkey. The owner refunded us for the expired beer but that doesn’t makeup for our...

When the initial restaurant we wanted to try for the first time was too busy, our map brought us to Hearthstone. My wife and I have never been, and we figured we'd give it a try. The weather was perfect right now for patio seating, and the sandwiches, soups and salads we ate were delicious. My wife, who isn't a fan of mushrooms, decided to try the Bella Portobello and said she'd have it again. The environment was nice, and we're excited to come back again, soon.

This restaurant is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place to bring your friends or family. My mother is partially deaf and a she always has issues with restaurants because of the background noise making virtually impossible for her to enjoy herself. But here at Hearthstone the mere size of the property is so massive it has a wonderful way of making it feel so quiet you could hear a mouse. Oh and the food was delicious!

I came by for an early lunch and it was not busy at all. The views and atmosphere were perfect. So calm and serene. I was able to get some work done as well. The food was very tasty and flavorful. The tortilla soup did have sour cream in it so if you’re not a fan make sure to let them know. The sandwich was fresh and tasty served along side with a pickle. I will definitely be back when I’m in the neighborhood.
