I recently purchased a Rausch Coleman Home in San Antonio, TX. I will never work with Pete Mann (Field Manager) or Scott Myles (Construction Manager) again. I will never allow Pete Mann to manage the construction of any other home I may own in the future. Pete is careless and by the results, of which to this day I am still complaining on, he cares not about the work he was responsible for or of what is put in writing. The vendors chosen for the construction of my home were terrible and cheap. It appears they did the work with their eyes closed. Then the so called Field Manager failed to even take a look at the construction and progress. Originally I couldn't get Pete to respond to my emails all while Scott (his supervisor) too kept quiet until I involved the warranty company (2-10 Home Buyers Warranty). If someone would be please ask for all my emails sent to Pete Mann, Scott Myles, Victoria Washington, and Kimberly Edwards. Then the truth would be known and those involved would be exposed. All the issues I have been dealing with over this home are in writing, I have everything documented. Issues from appliances, paint, texture details, holes, cracks, trim, front siding, patio siding, outlets, switches, cable drops, bathtubs, water leakage, and more. I was deceived into buying this home and felt the overwhelming pressure to close sooner than later. Scott Myles is dismissive and quickly says no and when he finally agrees to a repair he too takes the cheap route by going to Walmart to buy "material" only to do the work himself. Anyone wonder why the homes are cheaply built, with so many mistakes, and falling apart? My statements here only touch the surface of the whole ordeal. Lastly, Pete and Scott are quickly trying to complete repairs so that I may sign off on items. Not happening. There is no quality in the work done by anyone at Rausch Coleman. I forcefully closed on my home on May 31st 2017 and it is now July 21st 2017 and still dealing with the mediocre work done in this house. As the home buyer I asked questions and usually never received a response even after multiple emails to multiple people. Rausch Coleman Homes' employees lack professionalism and communication skills. Rausch Coleman Homes lack quality and workmanship. Simply put Rausch Coleman Homes doesn't care about home buyers and will pay anyone that can hold a paint brush and hammer to build your over...
Read moreSo i chose a new home in July 2022 to start all over again since my husband passed away in January 2022…. The head Forman Murry , asked if we can delay our move in date a week later ( reason was ) because the cement truck busted a pipe in my living room under the window… when it was time to move in Murry said they fix it and he was the one to inspect my house . Well everything that he was soposto do was never done . Like repaint my front door clean all the dried cement off my porch and driveway . Fix all my doors in the house they don’t close at all the cracks in my walls . So when I finally did talk to him he said he would be there but never showed up I’m sorry but this was / IS MY FIRST HOME AND I HAVE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I have had to deal with this.. I could not take that much time off I had to make sure I was able to make my mortgage payment on time. My floors were bubbling and that’s the one thing they took care of I was happy about that . I even told them that I wanted a plumber to come out and he denied that now I’m two yrs and half in and we noticed that there was water coming from my living room floors and that the walls were wet . We called 210 warranty and they told me that they don’t cover pipes. They were so ugly about it . So that really sucks I was angry , hurt, and didn’t understand why we couldn’t get any help. The pipe that burst was taped up like some one did a half ass job on it it must have had a small leak all along I have pictures!! I have paid 3200.00 already now to fix the wall they want to charge me 4000.00 they didn’t even bother to offer any kind of help. All they want is there money I’m gonna try to find someone to help me fix the wall AND I WILL STOP RECOMMENDING THIS BUILDER TO ANY ONE!!! I made my mother find another house else where cuz if they are doing this to me , can you imagine how they will treat an...
Read moreMy fiancé and I currently rent an apartment and never dreamed of owning a home, much less having one built. Our credit was poor and our expectations were low. I reached out to RC and set up a meeting with Romeo to view homes on April 20th. Romeo explained things to us in a way that was easy to understand and follow regarding the home building and loan application process. He was transparent about what we would need and how to get started. We left our consultation feeling empowered and confident in our decision to move forward. Romeo made it seem like it would be a painless process and so far (with two months till closing) it has been. We met on April 20th and made our deposit on May 6! Before we knew it, we were at a model home picking out our design, flooring, cabinets etc. We were able to do all the upgrades we wanted to do and stay within budget. Through it all, Romeo has always been there via phone call or text to answer any crazy questions I had and made sure I knew that I could reach out whenever and for whatever reason. We never felt alone at any point in this process. Now, with two months till closing, we are beyond happy with our experience so far and tell all of our friends about RC. Nothing can describe the feeling of seeing your very own home mid-build, knowing that it’s all yours. We have Romeo to thank a thousand times over for believing in us and showing us how possible it is to have our...
