Hands down the best place to go in need! My family and I were traveling to Rockport TX, from Phoenix Az, when just into Deming New Mexico we had a power failure in our travel trailer nothing would work. Checked all connections all fuses were good only thing undetermined we're bad Breakers. So traveling through New Mexico started Googling RV supply stores and service found 2 places in Las Cruces New Mexico called one store said they could not see us for at least two months the other store we went there physically and were told we could not get in until probably 2 to 3 weeks without an appointment so crossed into El Paso Texas. Same scenario there... would not be able to see us. Only had a handful of RV supply stores way too busy just to even look at us so started getting referrals to look up San Antonio Texas, a lot more RV stores in San Antonio Texas. Out of the five that we called one said that they could see us with no problem at all and that one was Texas RV Supply. We arrived around 8: 45 am on a Tuesday morning they had us pull around back close to a bay and for the life of me I cannot remember the associates name who helped us I was just so ecstatic that somebody would even take time to even look at us after getting so many others telling us "can't see you for 2 months or two to three weeks, sorry try the next town" and as busy as this place seemed to be when we arrived, they still took the time to help us. He had his technicians on it right away we were in the main lobby for about 35 to 40 minutes ran a whole diagnostic electrical check on the trailer itself and could not duplicate loss of power they checked all appliances range stove refrigerator AC, replaced all fuses check circuit breaker found nothing. Apparently it was just one of those flukes that can happen while traveling... mysterious causes. Only thing that came up was the battery to be replaced thinking this was about the time to here "you need a new one" but the tech said it was holding a charge and in good condition so you would think now comes the service charge for just looking at it which we expected to pay but the gentleman said cannot charge for nothing he can't fix. Again, I offered to pay for a service charge and again no charge what I cannot fix. A big...
Read moreI read the reviews and liked it was near my work. I called and made an appointment for wednesday. I told Marc in service dept. I wanted to mount a back up camera and wheel bearings service to make sure its safe for travel. Marc quoted me 75.00 to mount camera… I was ok with price. I dropped off trailer and service repair staff were very professional and answered my questions. I spoke with repair man about the camera, he said it was easy and just connected to back top light. Takes 15 minutes to remove light cover pull out bulb and connect 2 wires. They even regrounded my power jack! I went to Marc after speaking with them and was satisfied with the service. Marc pulled out my receipt and it was 190.76 for bearings and mount and some bulb replacements. I gave him my card and payed. I then get a call the next morning and Marc states he is sorry and his eyesight isn’t too good and he billed me 290.76. He then proceeded to tell me he didn’t bill me the correct price for mounting the camera; to which I reminded him he quoted 75.00. He then said, he wasn’t sure then and it costs 150.00 an hour to mount the camera! He then states, they had trouble fishing out a wire, but said we can call it even and that I saved 50.00! I spoke with technician prior and he told me no such thing! I realized that Marc made a mistake and was determined to keep the 100.00. I was really satisfied with the service, however, I feel I cannot trust Marc, even with explaining that I spoke with technician and what he was saying did not correlate to reality. I was telling my wife that we should replace the toilet in the trailer next, however, if they charge 150.00 an hr and charge your card 100.00 over bill. I am sad to say that I cannot spend my hard earned money here. I now have to search for a new RV service business. I was most likely going to do around 2k in upgrades on my trailer. I just hope that extra hundred dollars helps him when the economy gets worse and people will not have service on their RVs as a priority. Gas prices and inflation will take a toll. I will say please try this business, but ask questions and document and verify before and after service, the technicians were good. Maybe Marc had a bad day? I just lost trust and will take my...
Read moreWe had an appointment for several weeks to get a tow system and brake system installed on our Jeep and RV. The appointment t was for the 8th of August. This was going to be our last day in San Antonio. We are selling our house and we planned everything around this appointment, to include medical appointments, other repairs to the RV, having movers come and put our stuff in storage. We even made reservations to stay at a hotel near this shop in case they needed more than one day. I even called the week before the appointment to confirm the appointment. They confirmed the appointment so we continued our plans. The Thursday before our Monday appointment, the owner calls and asks if he could push us out until the 15th because he didn't realize his guy that does the install was taking a week off. Realize again, I had this appointment for about three weeks out because everyone else in San Antonio was booked. We can't wait until the 15th because we already have RV spot reservations along the way back to Washington State. The owners poor management of his schedule really put us in a bind. With such short notice, no other shop in the area has time to do the work. Now we have to drive the Jeep behind the RV. This is going to slow us down considerably because now we cannot switch drivers in the RV. The owner apologized but it sounded like an empty apology like a kid who just got caught stealing a cookie from the cookie jar after he already had a bite. Absolutely inexcusable and worthless. If you want to be left in a lurch, call this shop and make an...
