Tandy Leather San Bernardino - 155 — Local services in San Bernardino

Google says this location is closed temporarily, I hope it's permanent. I visited one time only, and was so unimpressed I don't even want to shop with Tandy anymore. Another reviewed mentioned the staff seeming to hate their jobs, and it was spot on. The Staff here Do. Not. Care.

I've visited Tandy locations out of state, the staff there trip over each other trying to help you. They host classes and ask you about your projects and they show you projects they've done, because they love what they do and the business of leathercraft.

The workers here look like the closest they've come to leather craft is eating a hamburger.

Additionally there was a younger angry employee here physically shoving the other workers around the store. It was very disturbing. I didn't stay after witnessing that.

EDIT: I revisited this store three years later, out of desperation more than anything else. I was not looking forward to the visit.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the store was well stocked, there were more than two employees in the store, we were greeted when we arrived and asked if we needed help. The checkout person was much more courteous then my last visit.

We had a wonderful experience at Tandy leather. I recently got into making knives and desperately needed sheaths for them. I decided to make my own and didn't know anything about it. Jonny was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything I needed. He never tried sticking me with stuff I didn't need and never tried to upsell anything, just the things I needed.
