Target has a very bad customer service. I have been trying to buy this certain mens mountain bike from them for awhile. I saw it one time in the Fontana store, but I wasn't able to buy it right then. When I went back to get it they already sold it. Then I tried to order it on-line, which that particular bike cannot be ordered on-line. Plus you can't buy it and have it shipped to your home. From what I found out it is one of those bikes that only Target carries and it can only be purchased inside the store only after it is assembled. A $369.99 Schwinn bike. So on May 18th the Target website indicated that the San Bernardino store had one in stock and it could be ready in 2 hours. I drove 30 some miles to buy it and it was not on display. I talked to a Target employee and they said it was in the back room, but it needed to be put together and the only worker that assembles bikes is on lunch. I said I will wait and just shop around. So about 30 minutes later a different Target employee comes out and said the other worker made a mistake and that the bike is out of stock. They said check the other Target stores. At that point I was thinking the hell with that I will stop by a bike shop on the way home in Redlands called Cyclery USA just to see what they have. Ended up buying a great E-bike for about $1800.00. When I got home that evening I again checked the San Bernardino stores website and now it indicated that it had one in store and it would be READY FOR PICK UP IN THE MORNING!. I guess they lied to me because they were in no hurry to put it together. If you go to these local bike only shops they have a much bigger selection for the whole family and they will also let you ride the bike BEFORE YOU BUY. So I can't really recommend buying bikes from Target. Your choice is very very limited to ONLY WHAT IS ASSEMBLED on the rack and most of the time it's mostly empty. If you are thinking about buying one from Target first go to these only bike shops FIRST to see exactly what your looking for. Targets customer service is getting as bad as Wal-Mart's...
Read moreI took weeks researching for a pool to purchase and figured Target was a reliable source waited almost a week for the pool to show up just to get the cardboard box of it with the tracking number wedged on my gate saying it was delivered and instead of them resending it to make it right, they said they could only give me a refund through a gift card and for my inconvenience of taking the day off to set up my pool that I waited for and planned for they gave me a $25 gift card instead of sending the pool and making the issue right without the refund like I requested. I spoke to five people to try to get this issue resolved ( because their connection kept getting disconnected), spent hr and half trying to resolve and instead this is how they resolved it. They said I could use the gift card refund to purchase a pool from them again and I can almost get it for ALMOST the exact same price and now I'm stuck with a gift card for Target instead of money back for it. They said they could not resend item but I could purchase it again. They did not show any empathy for the fact that I was upset and frustrated for having taken day waiting all day for delivery. Their appeasement was a 25 dollar gift card aside from the purchase I made for almost 200 in a gift card as well. I am beyond disappointed. Now I am stuck with having to purchase pool again from them at a higher price and wasting more time waiting for it to possibly be delivered. This is photo of "pool" that got delivered from FedEx who they hired and here is the kicker one of them still questioned if FedEx does that a lot in my area. Didn't take accountability for who they hire to make delivery instead tried blaming in on the area aka me. Baffled at...
Read moreI had a HORRIBLE experience at Target, and I honestly can't believe the treatment we received. I went to buy bras for my daughter, and when we got to the fitting rooms, we asked an employee if we could try on the clothes. She said yes and told us to check for an available fitting room. We found one open and started using it, but suddenly, another employee came in with a completely aggressive and rude attitude, demanding that we leave as if we had done something wrong. The worst part is that instead of handling the situation respectfully, even the manager got involved, and rather than helping, they just ordered us to leave without giving us time to get dressed properly. It was absolutely unacceptable. When we finally walked out, I still tried to be polite and said “thank you,” but the employee yelled at us and, in an angry and offensive tone, told us to get out. Excuse me? Since when is it okay to treat customers like this? I felt humiliated, uncomfortable, and completely disrespected. What’s the point of having fitting rooms if customers aren’t allowed to use them without being mistreated? Is this the kind of service Target offers? I expected a basic level of professionalism, but what I experienced was totally unacceptable. I hope Target takes action because this type of behavior is NOT normal or tolerable. If I could give zero stars, I would do it...
