JDC Build is an awesome company to work with! The team retiled our front door stoop and a full master bathroom remodel (from demo, plumbing, installing a new vanity, building a new wall in shower, etc). We’ll definitely call them for any future housing projects.

Any type of construction project can be stressful, but what made this remodel even easier was the communications, as they were always responsive through phone, text and email which really put my mind at ease.

When reaching out to JDC Construction, my wife and I received a response right away and we met with Jon to go over the project. Jon started working and got us a quote right away because we were eager to start the renovation. Once we agreed on the project, JDC Construction’s portal made signing the contract and making payments easy. This whole process happened in less than a week and they started working immediately.

Once the project was underway, Jon and his team always made themselves available to answer any questions and to ensure the quality that makes this company stand out from of the previous contractors that I worked with.

Everyone that I came across had a very strong attention to detail, and really took pride in the quality of their work. For example, my wife is about 4’ 11” and the plumber called me to make sure that the hand-held shower was reachable for her (without me or my wife prompting them).

If we were unsure of our options we always called or texted a representative and they always got back to us in a reasonable amount of time. They always provided us with great options. From our choice of tile, ceiling fan, shower door, shower drain etc everyone I talked to was very knowledgeable of the materials that were used.

Jon and his team at JDC Build surpassed my expectations, and redefined the ADU concept.

Hours of consultation with the design team created a beautiful blueprint for my new home on property where my daughter and family live.

My home is 825 sq. ft. with vaulted ceilings, surround windows, pocket doors, and carefully selected floors, wooden custom cabinets, and state of the art tile and fixtures, and energy efficient, all electric appliances and HVAC system.

All of the lighting fixtures and ceiling fans were carefully selected to complement the architecture.

A side yard became a beautiful entrance with a Xeriscape landscape, succulents, decorative pots, new wooden gate, fencing, and decking.

The master bedroom has a slider that opens onto a private patio with pony wall, overlooking an orchard on the slope, and a surround view of the horizon.

A pebble path connects the bedroom patio with the side Italian tile patio where there is a bar with large hydraulic window to open for serving from the kitchen. In the kitchen there is a 48” wide peninsula and surrounding counters of callacata quartz.

There is a studio/guest room that contains a storage closet and laundry center, and it has French pocket doors for privacy.

The bathroom has a seamless walk-in shower with slanted floor to the drain and a floating vanity.

Jon and his team are always available to answer questions and explain every aspect of the build. I’ll continue to use his highly trained sub-contractors (plumbing and electrical) projects.
