Le Perv Landscape Inc — Local services in San Diego

Hired Le Perv for our home and was willing to pay more for a licensed/insured company with professional staff. They were $220 a month where previously I was paying $160. The previous crew did a better job by far. Le Perv took 3 weeks to trim a hedge in stages, leaving it unfinished for those 3 weeks. It looked stupid. Also they charged me $15 three consecutive weeks in a row for applying round up to weeds that were too close to my Morning Glory plants. The round up almost killed the good plants and they just left the dead weeds there for several more weeks until I asked them to remove the dead weeds. $45 extra for weed control?? Where it shouldn't have been sprayed in the first place? And they didn't remove the dead weeds? The owner takes days to return calls or emails and when he does, he doesn't address the request or issue thoroughly. Leaves questions unanswered and issues unresolved and his crew doesn't follow up. The crew cut a flax plant by hacking it half way down the shoots. No landscaper worth anything would do that. They removed one plant upon my request and they didn't get down to the roots. Also they left one planter for 2 months without removing clovers that are starting to take over. I asked them to remove them several times. It would take about 5-10 min at the most to do. 5 stars is not enough for Clarke and his team at Le Perv Landscape. From the start Clarke was very professional. He listened to what I wanted, gave me some recommendations and tips from his expertise and experience, and never once did I feel like he was trying to up sell me. In fact, he was the only one of 4 companies I met with that gave me a reasonable price. The other 3 just tried to gouge a first time home owner. Even when my wife and I threw variables at him, like delaying the work to have our first kid, and then of course all the rain that came over the holidays, Clarke and his team never rushed, or pressured us to finish the job. They adjusted their schedule, protected our yard from the weather, they really went above and beyond. The guys that came to the house to do the work were amazing. Tyler and Chris were so friendly and polite, and I feel bad I can’t remember the name of the other two guys. They all took amazing care to protect our house when moving their equipment and supplies around. They were prompt, informative, and just so nice. Again I wish I could give them more stars and I wish I had a bigger yard for them to work on. I plan on only ever calling them for landscaping, and...

I am the property manager of the Promenade Mall in Pacific Beach Ca. La Perv landscaping has been consistant. I have repeatidly requested them to check in with me upon arrival, and they still have not done this. We have ongoing projects to work together on. The current two man crew is difficult to communicate with as they do not speak any English. They have left early on numerous occasions telling me they have too many jobs today. When I asked them to transplant some small jasmine plants, they did not dig out the roots and merely cut the plants off at the soil line, killing them. They did replace them after having to send photos etc.to prove this. The crew changes frequently, seeming like the turn over rate is high. One earlier crew who did speak English was great, and we had good communication and were working well together, then they were let go for some reason. So I am not giving a bad review, but I hope it...
