Went into the shop looking to buy a vape. I have had good luck with Smok brand in the past, so I asked which Smok mods they had in stock. They showed me them all and they told me that one specific unit was $30 cheaper, but didn't explain why. I asked, they just said that was the price. I asked if I could get that unit in a color other than gold, but he said those cost more, even though they appeared to be identical other than color. It had to be exactly that mod he was showing me. Regardless, a deal is a deal, so I bought it.i took it home, and the plug in charger didn't work, but I always use a seperate wall charger unit anyway, and I didn't want to pay for another Uber, so I didn't think it was a big deal. Anyway, about two weeks later, the entire thing stopped turning on for no reason. It was working fine, the battery died, I charged the batteries, and it never turned back on. Suspicious discount explained?
I checked online and saw that it was under warranty. The Smok site says to take it back to the store of purchase and they will help, so I did. That is why I am posting this review. The guy could not have had worse customer service. I came in and asked if he could help me to get it replaced or fixed in some way. He was immediately rude and dismissive, saying it worked the day I left the store and wasn't his problem. I mentioned the charger not working and he said, "if that was true you would have come back that day, end of story." He told me it was not his problem or concern. I asked about the warranty, and he said it was through the company. I told him the company website said to bring it to the store, and he again said once I leave the store it stops being his problem.
To make it worse, he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. When I handed him the mod to inspect, he didn't know how to take the batteries out. For the record, you press a button and then pull the strap and the back pops off. He just started yanking on the strap and ignored my attempts to assist until he snapped the strap straight off the unit, breaking it further. He threw the piece away and didn't acknowlede his mistake as he put in new batteries. Then he started mashing its buttons furiously with the back open, even though that one won't turn on without the back in place anyway.
He handed it back after his 30 seconds of effort yielded nothing, and felt he had done everything he was obligated to do. I mentioned that he had just broken it further and he ignored me. He basically told me to get bent. I told him that generally salesmen feel some semblance of responsibility when the product they sell breaks immediately, but he disagreed. He told me if I drove a functional car off the lot and it broke down 15 miles later, the auto dealership would give me the same cold shoulder response he had.
Look, I didn't want a free vape, I just wanted help. I have worked as a salesman myself and I would never dream of treating a customer so poorly. I always wanted clients to feel good about my store and the way I do buisness. If he had been nicer, I might have just bought another one right then to use until the replacement was sent off of the warranty.
EDIT: LOL missing the mouthpiece? It was in my pocket jackass. And the mouthpiece does nothing anyway. You never mentioned any 2 week warranty while I was there. I also had the receipt and box in the car, you never asked for them. You told me that since it was working when I left, you couldn't help, stop lying. It had only been about 2 weeks since I had bought it...

And nothing personal but I noticed that the people that are complaining are complaining about the wrong thing. They should be complaining about the education they received or lack of. If you can't read or write then you should definitely not care about anything that wrapped the wrong way or cracked. Your main concern should be if the owner can even understand what you wrote.
