thank you Mr Gorge Ramirez(tech)Now im super happy with my macbook15" pro touch bar .he fixed my backlight , flexgate after few days,(coz i work on the cruise ship .after 1 cruise(10days)i come back , i took a taxi(,so expensive taxi in san diego,better next time take Uber) and taxi driver told me you trust your laptop to this man? i said ,YES .why not. NOW im using it alredy for than 12hrs and i feel so satisfying and lucky.100% recommended to all crew members who had the issue about there macbook's he' better than a Genius Bar (apple store) i been in apple store a month ago.and i try to explain my side why ,what happen to my macbook.(there fault design) not only mine had those issues (they told me about total cost and i was so shuck,coz that price is price of one iphone........ that's why i found this online ,and i read all reviews,comments....in that very moment i send the messages and email.and i ask if he can do it. he said yes.and he told me the cost price. it so esay to deal eith him. thats why i decide to repairs my laptop on line GR...

The service was good but my Switch was left in far worse shape than I brought it in. Original issue: Could not charge nor dock my Switch anymore. Was apparently a bad usb port. Ended up not being the case. Bad cpu. Choices were to find someone with the equipment to fix it or get a new one.

Eventually found a soldering specialist and was shown this picture. A chip from the back of the motherboard was inexplicably missing and the rest of the board was in really bad shape. The switch was left completely irreparable. Very upset by this.

Edit: Thanks for the explanation. That clears up a lot. He was able to find a replacement chip but everything else was in in bad shape from the sounds of it. Yeah, I definitely recommend putting it back together as much as possible in the future in case something like this happens again...

If I could give 10 stars I would. Service is top notch!!! I brought in my MacBook Air computer in the evening after a water damage accident where it messed up the keyboard and eventually the computer just stopped working. Thinking the computer was gone forever, and we all know that Macs are not cheap, I got a text message couple of hours later that the computer was fixed and ready for pick up. Super quick! Furthermore, I inquired about another computer issue that George took care of the same day. My Mac operates like new again. GR Computer Tech is a must-go-to service that I strongly recommend to anyone. Prices are very reasonable and the work comes with one year warranty.
