I called for take out. Had a couple questions about the specials and combos. The female that answered the phone didn't seem very knowledgeable of the menu but took the time to answer my questions. I ordered 10 bbq bone in wings and a combo #1 which includes a 20-inch pepperoni pizza, breadsticks, and a 2 liter. They let me know it should be ready in about 25 mins. It sounded pretty busy so I sent my fiance 45 mins after I made the order. He was told it wasn't ready yet so he paid and went next door to get ice cream at LaMichuacana. When he goes back into the store they tell him not only is the order not ready but that they called the number on the order and no one answered and that they only hold orders for an hour in the order was still not made. He was told that whoever talk to him when he first came in was incorrect and should have told him that the order was canceled. Not only did they not provide a refund but they still took another 10 minutes to make the order so now my fiance is coming home with melted ice cream and pizza I ordered 2 hours ago. I was told I would be given no refund no discount. Even though I never got a call about my canceled order and my fiance was misinformed upon arrival.

The short version: Food = Good pizza + EBT accepted = yay! Service = very friendly attendant + quick = yay! Atmosphere = no music = I like it quiet = yay! The long version: As always looking for good pizza. And, as always looking for a place that takes EBT. It's over with! I was kinda down, close to depressed. Looked up pizza places that take EBT. This place pops up. On top of that, I need to wash clothes and wouldn't you know, there's a coin op laundry next door. You know that I had no choice. On the bus I hopped and disembarked at National and 36th. Dropped my clothes in the washer and came over. The attendant was super nice. The pizza was out lickety split. My first impression was like "WOW that's a big slice!" although more explicit words went through my head. And for less than 5 bucks! Only thing left is to taste the slice. Is it real? The in mouth verdict: yes, it's real. Am I pretending that it's the best slice on the planet. No. Is it good though or am I just glad that it was cheaper than most of the rest of San Diego pizza and I got it on EBT? It's good. And I mean it's one to run back. I'd get on the bus and come out of my way for it.

Great stop for cheap and delicious pizza, cooked to order! It's a small space so there's not much seating but most people seem to get it to go anyways. They have a wider menu including burgers, nuggets, gyros and other things, which I'm not used to as an out of towner. Definitely would eat here again on return visits!

Don’t order from here ! I was so upset today! I ordered my pizza online on their website for lunch at 11am hoping to get it at 12pm. I called to see what was going on because it was taking forever . Long story short, they delivered the pizza to another place 2 hours later ! My co workers and I ordered the pizza to have a Valentine’s Day lunch. The Giant pizza king place said they had delivered it and that someone had signed my receipt. My coworker had to go to the buildings across the street to see if someone had taken our pizza. Yes, we were that mad and hungry , our order was around $50. And yes, another building received our pizza!! I called Giant Pizza King and they didn’t even have the courtesy to at least give me my money back for the bad customer service. They wanted to charge me for another pizza and for me to pay them in cash because they couldn’t do a refund because the pizza had been delivered. When it wasn’t even delivered to the right place ! It was ridiculous!!! Giant pizza king employees ended up showing up to my work place. They stated that they went to the place I put on the online order. They couldn’t admit they just gave my order to the wrong building . Not once did they apologize for the inconvenience or the horrible costumer service. They were both upset and since I was already back on the clock , I told them to just leave....
