See's Candies — Local services in San Diego

I have been coming here for decades, and the service has always been very good. My wife and I consider See's candy to be the finest there is, and we have always sung its praises to our friends and family members. Unfortunately, the last couple of purchases seemed on the stale side. The Valentine's heart box, as well as a regular 1 lb. box of chocolates, weren't up to the normally high standards we expect from See's. For the prices charged, I expect the highest quality. A couple more stale boxes and I might change to Ghirardelli. They aren't at the level of See's normally, but for the price...

It's a small store but full of great chocolates. Tons of yummy options to pick and build your own box of chocolates and many premixed assortments to choose from that are equally delicious. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's the Easter season so I stopped in to pick up some gifts. They had really great gift options including cute Easter bags with jelly beans and a few other sweets. I went in thinking I would have to build the bag myself but they had the perfect selection already wrapped up with a bow! Saved me a lot of time 👍😁 Will continue...

This place is my absolute favorite See’s Candy! The people who work here are amazing! Lezlie is always there to help me. For many years I was very picky with my chocolate at See’s and when I told her my concerns she knew exactly what to give me. I am not sure how this location is not rated 5/5 stars. Nikki is also funny and very pleasant to see. The one problem with this place can be the customers. I think people who come in need to be in a better mood.
