The Prado Valet Parking — Local services in San Diego

We absolutely love this place, we bring our kids here for plays, we bring our friends here for events, and we bring our family here for Theatre.

We love all of the different seating arrangements, generally there are seats that have great views from every angle. The outdoor theater is it’s own experience with tons of viewing angles as well.

The prices are always reasonable and the performances are always top notch. If you are visiting San Diego or a local we definitely recommend watching different types of events here.

Plus after you’re done you can grab something to eat around the corner at Panama 66, which has incredible food and excellent outdoor eating. FOUR STARS because after all these years of being situated here, since the mid 1930's, you'd think that they would've come up with a better solution for decent parking.

I see many senior attendees having to walk a LONG distance, they have a golf cart shuttle, for those PAYING EXTRA for valet services.

Also, if you're using Lyft or Uber there can be a great level of confusion because there are two different spots that are available for pick up but they are FAR apart. Uber/Lyft maps lead most drivers to OLD GLOBE WAY while passengers not familiar with Balboa Park expect to be picked up at EL PRADO.

Pay attention to the map and make clear to your Uber/Lyft driver where you wish to be picked up.

Arriving via OLD GLOBE WAY can get you closer but drivers can be confused because there is signage saying employee...

The location is beautiful, the service was amazing. The food is small portions and overpriced.

I ordered the chicken cobb salad and the chicken was not the best quality, and I could count the number of romaine lettuce leaves. I am not a cheap person, but I know when I'm being overcharged. I wouldn't have minded eating a half size portion if the taste was amazing, but it just was okay. I didn't mind so much because what I wanted from my lunch experience was a great place to sit and talk with my friend outside. The views are lovely and the service is 5-stars, very attentive.
