Cafe in the Park — Restaurant in San Diego

Do not waste your time or money. Paid $8 for a turkey sandwich and chose a roll for the bread. It was a rather stale, torpedo shaped, roll cut in half. Each half had a tiny smear of mayo and mustard, very insufficient for the size, one thin slice of turkey, a thin slice of tomato, and a little piece of lettuce. Basically, all you could taste was thick, stale bread. I ate the insides and tossed the bread. It came. with nothing else, not even chips, so I obviously was still hungry. We were a group of five adults and four children, and everyone else's food was just as disappointing. By the way, after several people who ordered after us received their food, I got tired of waiting and asked about our order. They ended up throwing it all together quickly because they had clearly forgotten it, but were unwilling to admit it. Disgusting service, disgusting food, and I regret not asking for...

Food was fairly good. But the staff is not friendly AT ALL. Barely look at you in the staff. To the young Latina girl who took my order today at 2:30…change your job if you don’t like it. We don’t need to know by your lame attitude, like we should be thankful you are talking to us. Not patient in answering ingredients in menu items (not listed). And to the older dude working there, barely looked up from looking at women’s chests while taking their order. I have 3 daughters and just wanted to leave. Don’t bother asking for a receipt with items listed, they can’t provide that, so cross your fingers they took the right order and didn’t charge you extra, that was also a wild guess as to why my total was different from what I expected, but I couldn’t compare it to anything since they cant give...

The girl taking our order was rude and inconsiderate. She seemed annoyed when we were asking simple questions about the menu. After waiting a awful long time finally our sandwich came out and the bread wasn't even toasted. Then it was like they forgot about the rest of our order. After waiting at the counter for awhile I finally got someone's attention and got them to give me my drinks that were sitting on the counter behind them. Upon tasting them they weren't anything close to what I ordered....We just left because of the lack of care making our food and drinks there was no chance of getting any...
