Garden of Eden Mobile Petting Zoo & Alpaca Experience — Local services in San Dimas

This business should not be in business. I will be contacting the BBB if I do not receive my deposit back. We hired this mobile petting zoo for my granddaughter’s birthday and Shawneen was supposed to arrive at 1:15 pm to set up. Shawneen called me at 1:10 to tell me her transmission went out on her truck. She provided no status update. I called her to get a status update and she was very rude and unprofessional and said she’s sorry nothing ever happens to me. What kind of person does this to a child on their birthday. If you were supposed to be at the party at 1:15pm and your calling me at 1:10 pm to tell me your having transportation issues your late!!! Why are we receiving a call 5 minutes before the scheduled time??? DO NOT use this business ever in life!!! I should have listened to my gut instinct because from day one she did not call to confirm and sent the contract out late but was sure quick to want a $100 deposit. UPDATE: I did receive my Venmo deposit but this lady Shawneen is a piece of work and liar! She stated that the reason for refund was client cancelled. We got this petting zoo for my institute’s family day and it was absolutely spectacular. Shawneen and her husband were so kind, making sure to help with every bureaucratic/strange requirement my institute had, as well as with set-up, clean-up, and educating the children. We are so impressed with Garden of Eden Mobile Petting Zoo! They certainly made our daughter's 5th birthday magical with their real-life unicorn! All of their animals are obviously well cared for and we just loved the variety of animals we were able to interact with.
