Gratitud Patisserie & Café — Local services in San Germán

My family and I stumbled upon Gratitud today. When we first walked in we were greated and seated right away! Went to use the restroom and the light inside didn't come on(odd there wasn't a light switch, so I used the flashlight from my cell phone) Our coffees came quickly and they were delicious! After we ordered our food our experience started to go down hill.....there were three other tables that came and sat and ordered after us.....there food arrived at there tables and they were able to finish their food pay and leave before our food arrived. Mind you the party size in those groups were the same as ours if not one person less(we were a party of 3) when the food arrived at the table next to ours(again they sat & ordered after us) my husband asked the server about our food, we were told it was the chicken and waffles taking longer (we waited 50 minutes?!) Once our food arrived the chicken was SO salty and tough it couldn't be eaten.....my food was okay, I ordered the American breakfast with egg whites. The waiter asked how I would like them, fried or scrambled I ordered fried and they came out scrambled....the waffles that came with my breakfast and my husband were SO sweet we could feel the sugar crunching as we tried to eat them. We also have a service dog in which was denied entry inside....we were told we could sit outside however all the outside seating was taken and even if they weren't they were in the hot sun, no thank you, needless to say we...

Beautiful and comfy coffee-shop.

We found this place while looking for a bathroom, but ended up accidentally finding another place to visit.

We were so interested in the concept that we took some small sandwiches to try them out. Pretty good, and many for a low price.

Gratitud has beautiful interiors, like those you'd find inside a fantasy book.

They have their pastries at full display, and a limited menu on the afternoon.

Excellent upscale gormet foods presentation high quality products, great breakfast and lunch menu great place to chill out, excellent cup cakes better than those of Raymond Arietas men in the city, the different favored coffees are done by coffee baristas with designs both hot and cold, excellent music background to relieve stress Take out is just as good. A must place for all to stop by. Highly recommend moderate prices, and it's better than Starbucks, you...
