Was in this restaurant for the first time visiting the restaurant with my family. We usually go to different restaurants, we are not from the area, my family came to visit from the United States but we are Puerto Ricans so when we come to Puerto Rico we usually look for places like this to have a good, pleasant atmosphere. However, compared to other restaurants that we have had the opportunity to visit, the service needs to improve, we were the only customers in the place. The waitress was late in bringing the drinks, she forgot to bring water when asked, she should pay more attention to the details and in addition, for example, the other employees should greet their customers. Another employee seems to be the owner or manager, passing us in front of the table and she did not address us, she did not say bon appetit as is customary locally. We feel a little disappointed, I feel that they can show more kindness by interacting naturally with customers and not look fake. The food portions were very good. The pan-seared chicken had pieces of fat. I recommend the sangria and children's dishes. As for the atmosphere the place is well decorated. It has an extensive menu, I understand that many people...
Read moreFood was excellent. Absolutely delicious. Flan is the best I have had in my life. Portion of flan is very very small unfortunately. It left me wanting more. However, it truly is the most delicious flan I have ever had. They were out of the flan de platano so I ordered the flan de coquito.
Platano sushi is innovative, and bursting with flavor. The caldo to go with the mofongo plates as stunningly flavorful.
Steak is a tad overcooked and chewy but so flavorful that it's easy to ignore.

I was a bit concerned with our safety. Not sure why but the host was open carrying a gun on a waist belt with extra ammunition on the other side. He would patrol the outside dining area which is where we were seated. Not sure whether to feel safe with him there or if we chose a really rough area. Not really a safe sight to see.
It's all worth it though. Food is...

For me, for now 🤭 I must say the portion/size is really HUGE and its worth the price!🤩 I just hope they wont change the size and quality in the future bec. Like I said they stole my heart that day when I saw my Can can!!😍 Every bite is flavorful and the texture of the meat is tender its not overcooked or over fried which I really like!🤤🤤
Aside from that the place is really cozy and I love the boho design, all the servers and even the owner is really friendly and attentive that day! They even allowed our abuelo and abuela to celebrate their anniversary.☺️
