Chico's — Local services in San Jose

I love Chico’s products and bought a lot of items in the past. However, I decide to leave this brand now. Not because of the products, but because the staff/company is unable to provide necessary basic customer service. If you need to return something, the ladies in this store gave me trouble every single time. There has almost never been a straight forward return experience.

One lady just ignored me and chose to chat with other customers. I stood there by myself for 20 mins. I guess they don’t care about doing returns as they cannot get bonuses. Another customer next to me decided to fought back to get their attention. But the lady who ignored us just didn’t care. She went to the back a few times and still decided to chat with other customers instead of processing returns for us. A few other times, some ladies either said the system is not giving the refund and they don’t know why or they cannot find the items (they found later but it took them a long time). Last time in Dec., a lady said I should not return because the items are not regular priced items! I shopped enough in this store, so I know which items are final sales items. The website mark them clearly, but the items I brought back are not final sale and nowhere on the receipt, it says final sale. I am just so frustrated about the experience. I spent a lot of money in the store, but when I need to return occasionally, there are too many excuses from the employees. I’m not really a big Chico's fan, I normally shop at Kate spade, Ted Baker just to name a few. I was blown away by the level of customer service that I received from Doreen, Mona and the ladies at the Santana Row. They are knowledgeable, Very warm, welcoming, helpful. They both suggested their black label Luxury collection. Now - I am totally obsessed with their Silk-blend dresses, Beautiful blouses and the Indulgently soft pants. This collection is simple and sophisticated! I highly recommend this to anyone and will never think of Chico’s as an “OLD LADY STORE again. I will definitely going back for more... Rushed to this store after work reached 5 minutes before closing time. The doors were locked from inside. When I knocked and said plz help with my return it will take only a few min, the 2 ladies who worked there did hand wave and aa8d its already 7pm. Ilmy smart watch was at 6.57 at that time. One lady walked away to a side room and did not even have the courtesy to respond professionally. The other lady came to the door and kept on saying it's 7pm which is not true I showed her the watch.
