Dollar Tree — Local services in San Jose

I always come to this location because the size and selection. Most of the locations are cramped and difficult to find things.

2/14/23 4 years later, this place is the worse! They never have the same employees that were there the week before, always someone new. They don't have much stuff on the shelves, low stock. Online says they close at 10pm. At the location, on their doors - says 10pm. The last 2 times I have gone there, they were closed by 9:05pm. Not okay.

** 4/13/23 I haven't made a visit to this location since they closed early last time, a couple months ago. Once again, they are closed, at 9:40pm. There are people in the store working, looks like stocking. They have the flower racks in front of the entry door.

Change your operating hours on your door and what you list online! Well actually, the door says: Monday to Saturday "8:00am to :0pm" Whatever that is supposed to mean.

A plus is there is truck parking 🅿️ behind the building if a trucker would like to stop at this location!!When you first walk in, it’s well organized and seems to be fully stocked. The only issue I had with this particular visit was the language barrier. I asked someone that works here if they knew were something was and they didn’t speak any English, nor assisted me to find someone that could help me. I almost found everything I needed. They do also have a refrigerator and freezer section for food not the healthiest stuff but you can save some money. I wish they still sold whipped cream. Lol 😆 this dollar tree has been in this location for years and all the businesses around. It has pretty much collapsed so I’m happy that this dollar tree continues to survive. This dollar store has harbored a heavy amount of trauma for me as I was verbally abused and harassed by an employee that was old as the very dirt we walk on. I entered the store with my two associates both of Mexican descent. The second we enter the store, this man was on us like flies on honeypot! He followed us around and said "Hey, can I help you" multiple times while we were shopping in the store. We politely responded, "No we are just looking for stuff" despite this, he continued to trail our keisters. As we were checking out he yelled from across the store "I hope you dudes paid for that!" as we were checking out. All three of us were petrified!
