Heartbeat Cafe — Restaurant in San Jose

It's Feels nostalgic inside this Heartbeat Cafe on the Union Avenue. I am hearing this place been there for a while now. It's a good place to have your breakfast with Creeps & Sandwiches. The have good Variety of cake, muffins and other baked products. They serve free water too. The collection of antiques in the shop gives you a warm feeling. I had a extremely friendly waitress and counter who took my order and served me. It's a nice place to be. The Outdoor seating gets good sunlight...

This is a cute little cafe hidden in a little strip mall. It took me a few minutes to find it after parking. There is plenty of parking . The woman serving me and I chatted about our Polish heritage which was nice and unexpected.

I had a tasty tomato cheese panini at her suggestion as I was looking for something vegetarian.

Lots of fun objects to look at while you eat. Indoor and outdoor seating.

A nice chill find on my business trip...

I am sad to say the quality of food products has declined at this shop. I ordered a tuna sandwich and was brought a "turkey" sandwich. It was processed turkey and the amount of meat was half of what I have had at other local shops. And for less money. There was fruit that was supposed to accompany the sandwich. The fruit was a cut up mushy banana.
