Tried the pandan dream and orange sunset on Sunday. We came around 3pm and it was probably 10 minutes total waiting in line and getting our drinks.

Omg wow the drinks are both so bussin. I wanted the orange sunset because the bright orange color made it seem like it would be incredibly fruity and perfectly sweet, and I was right. It tasted kind of like what I think a passionfruit drink would taste like - maybe that’s the lemongrass because I don’t know how lemongrass alone would taste in drink form LOL.

I also really liked the pandan dream!!! I think the mung bean taste was stronger than the pandan (or my taste is just not refined enough to differentiate properly haha) but it went so well with the sweetness of the drink without feeling too sweet. I could chug this and finish the cup in a minute.

One of the owners chatted with us for a bit while we pulled up to the window to pay and collect our drinks! Very sweet of him, plus it makes the experience feel so much better (especially since it’s a drive-thru and not a sit-in cafe where you judge the experience and vibes based off of the interior) because we get to see who’s running the cafe. :)

The cups are huge (20oz) with sufficient ice so the price ($7 per drink) is very fair. I’m excited to come back to try the corn drink (and some of the Modo drinks too!!).

GET THE CORN CLOUD!!! So refreshing and creamy. The corn flavor is pleasantly sweet and not too heavy. The texture is smooth and not gritty at all. I could easily drink this everyday!

We have also tried the Orange Sunset, which is packed with flavor! Too sweet for me, (and no sugar adjustments yet) but the lemongrass flavor is truly delightful. A good option for those who can't have lactose.

The Bay Area NEEDS more drive-thru options, and this is probably one of the best additions we could have gotten. I'm pretty bummed they're only occupying this space until September 2024! Definitely support them so they continue to thrive after their Modo...

I'm obsessed! 1000% order the corn cloud. Creators Brandon and his wife have truly created something magical here. It's like a che bap you can drink! That first sip of cream is so smooth and rich without being too sweet. Then you get to the corn which creates a new silky match made in heaven. I've found my drink for the summer of 2024. I wish them great success and hope they find a permanent location in the area soon. Find them at their pop up location at modo on el camino!
