I despise this lion market . They are really racist. I walked in with 2 of my friends, and we wanted to purchase chips and soda for a party we were going to. We brought our backpacks so we can carry all the stuff because the party was at my friends cousins house and also we came right after school so that's another reason why we had our back packs. But once we came in we got the nastiest looks by all the staff. And when we were heading to the chips section of the store, the lady that was "gaurding" the entrance, came to us and yelled at us and told us to put our bags under a cabinet. But that's not the worst part. The worst part is another person came in with a bag and she did not say anything and me and my friends were angry. We called my friends cousin to see what kind of chips he wanted us to bring and soda..and then the same lady was following us around and passed by us a total of 8 times..then at the last time she stayed near us and she was telling us to get out of store because we were not buying anything.. me and my friends were outraged that we couldn't buy anything in the end. If i could rate it a 0...
Read moreI am not a big fan of this store. Store employees are extremely rude to non-Viet customers.
Believe me, everyone should avoid giving them any business. They are NOT customer oriented. If you are non-Viet customers, they will handle you like a pile of dirt. Talking to management is next to impossible. Management are always not available, and yet I have noticed they always chatting with each other. I guess it is because I am not a Viet customer.
I would NEVER make any purchase there. I go maybe once a month and try to not buy so much so they don't earn much money from me at least. I only get the absolutely necessary items and try make a quick in and out.
BTW, there is a brand new Ranch 99 scheduled to open up inside Westfield Oakridge mall (where Billy Beez used to be) in 2021. I can't wait and hope it will take all the business away from...

While the store layout is spacious, peak hours can make navigation difficult, with crowded aisles and long checkout lines. Despite minor inconveniences, Lion Supermarket remains a reliable choice for authentic Asian ingredients, catering to home cooks and food...
