It's hard to give Paradise Valley Spa an accurate rating because in-store I had such a great experience picking out a hot tub. However the post-sale customer service deserves about 10 negative stars. In order to help other users make a well researched design, I thought I would give my thoughts to help you before you go here to buy a hot tub.
The Good The in-store experience was great. Jason was very helpful and did not pressure us at all into making a purchase. He was able to answer any questions we had and helped us pick out the right spa. He was very responsive in walking me through the steps and also recommended a great electrician to help pre-wire my backyard for the hot tub. The delivery team was great, they did a great job of getting the hot tub installed in the proper place.
The Bad Ordered my hot tub on 12/13/23 and was told via email that "build time at the Sundance Factory is normally 2-4 weeks." I reached back out a month later (1/12/24) and was told there was no update as of yet but that "he expects my hot tub to be arriving at our warehouse any day now." I emailed again 8 days later (1/20/24) and he said "shouldn't be much longer" I finally got an email on 1/30/24 saying that my hot tub has left the Sundance Factory and will be arriving at the warehouse in a day or two and customer service would reach out to set a delivery date. the customer service team reached out to me on Friday 2/2 to set up a date for delivery. I was unable to take the first time slot on Monday (2/5) but asked to get on the schedule for 2/8. I assumed I would be the first priority on Thursday as they told me they haven't even set the schedule yet, but instead I was given a window of 1pm - 5pm. A 4 hour window in the middle of the work day is not ideal for someone who works from home and has to move his schedule around to accommodate.
Overall my experience with PVS has been underwhelming and disappointing. For making such a big ticket purchase, I expected much better customer service and transparency. I find it odd that they have no visibility into the timing of the hot tub, if that is true that is an area they should look into. I don't mind that it took over 7 weeks to build, what I do mind is that they kept telling me it would be ready when it wasn't. I would prefer honesty and transparency from the get go.
Also I shouldn't be the one who has to keep reaching out to the sales person to ask where my hot tub is. Jason could have easily reached out to me after the 4 week mark and said "Hey, sorry your hot tub is taking so long. There are some issues at the factory, hopefully in the next 2 weeks it'll be ready"
I would not recommend buying your hot tub from this store as there are plenty of other options out there who will probably provide you with some better...

When I placed my order for my spa my sales man said I would receive a call the following day to confirm my order was placed. When I didn't receive a call I called them back and left a message. I didn't hear back for two days, so I called again and left a message. It took longer than a week for them to call me back. I didn't worry because at least the spa was ordered and they said 4-6 weeks. It took 6 months and numerous calls with no call backs before it was finally delivered. When they finally delivered it, they were an hour later than the 30 min warning call, then they ripped down my lights in my yard trying to get it in the gate. They didn't fix them and left them laying on the ground. After I filled up the tub and it didn't work I called and left a message. Surprise surprise it took two days to return my call. Read moreI give this place 5 stars because of the entire experience. I came by a year ago but was not ready to buy. When I came in this time I was convinced that now was the time. I am so thankful that the sales person convinced me to take this step forward into my health and fitness. Not only has the spa sparked my family life, but as well me and my husbands social life. We are introverts and in somewhat of a slump in out relationship. After purchasing out spa, it has turn the light switch on, on our social life. We have bonded with people we have not seen in years. Having a spa gives you a relaxing activity that is easy. No more having to think of reasons to hang out, we just relax in the spa and enjoy the therapy with our friends. A couple glasses of wine and bubbly water, and we are set. We even put an outdoor TV outside so we can watch football in our Spa. The customer service team went above and beyond to give us advice on water chemistry. At first balance the chemicals took some knowledge but eventually we got it and now it has been sparkly...
