Real Kabob Persian Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in San Jose

This was, by far, one of the best to go experiences I have ever had. From the presentation to the quantity to the quality and flavor of the food... top notch all around. This came to me as an office delivery from our wonderful colleagues who always do a wonderful job of feeding us when the opportunity arrived. I love Persian food. Like Indian, it is so full of personality, color and smells. Despite not being hungry and generally skipping lunch, I had to try it because I've never had this place before. So satisfying in every way. Ate alone, as I prefer to do when I am at work.

The meats were tender and seemed really fresh and quality. The vegetables were crisp and also fresh. Solid rice... I'm gushing.

Would I stop in and buy it if I were hungry? No. Only because as great of an experience as it was, it is not top of mind, and frankly. the portion is enough for 2 people. It's too much for a tiny Asian man like me but may just be enough for a larger stomach. That, and I mentally fall into the tried and true when I am out and need food.

Of the mediterranean and Indian and generally colorful middle Eastern Palettes of food I enjoy, this falls just under Indian for me and higher above Mediterranean. Doesn't taste like either.

Wonderful experience. You must try it if you get the chance. I wonder how different the in restaurant taste/experience would be if I had it served hot...

Mr. Reza and staff always do a fantastic job fulfilling every order I place here. I have been a long time customer and got a wide range of items from their menu and they have never let me down. They catered my wedding and in almost all family or friends gatherings I get food from here.

Service: Mr. Reza goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck. He recommends what's more cost effective and delivers to his promises. He is very generous and building a healthy relationship with his clients is in his core values.

Food: Any one of my guests who tasted food from Real Kabob's catering services on the night of our wedding told me that they had to make 3rd and 4th rounds to the buffet tables. They still live through the memories and can't just forget the dinner.

Their koobideh kabob is very tasty and is one of my favorites. It's moist, seasoned right and cooked to perfection. I usually secure 3 skewers for myself when I take food for guests 😋

Their stews are delicious and it's like the best version of home cooked that a Persian mom makes at home.
