I bought a double insulated glass French press from William and Sonoma San Ramon store on September 20, 2021. 2 weeks ago, the water started leaking inside the insulation. I did not have a copy of the receipt, so I located a copy of my credit card transaction and took it with me to the closest William and Sonoma store near me in Valley Fair mall. My hope was to exchange the French press for a functioning one and I was also going to buy a coffee grinder. When I got to the store I was directed to speak with a gentleman who appeared to be the supervisor at the time. I explained the situation to him and inquired about my options. He replied with "i have no option for you". When i asked why, he replied "you did not buy it in this store and you do not have the physical receipt". I stated that I do not understand why since I have a copy of the credit transaction and I bought the item at a William and Sonoma store and it should not matter which store I bought it from. He replied with "this store is different than San Ramon and again stated he had no options for me'. I told him it was disappointing and left the store. I am writing this review because I feel the service provided at the Valley Fair store was very poor and I feel the employee should have tried to resolve the issue and offered some options rather than just saying too bad. Had he offered some options, he would have had a happy customer who would have also bought a coffee grinder. On my way home, I stopped at Bed Bath and Beyond where I bought a coffee grinder and ordered a stainless steel...

I ordered a paring knife on 06/29. It said that I should be receive the item in around a week. A week later, I didn't get the item although the order tracking page said the order was on its way to UPS. Another week passed but the tracking page said the same. I called the customer service and was told that they would take care of it and I should be able to get my order in a week. A week passed but I still didn't get the order and the tracking page still said "Order on the way to UPS". I called again, this time I experienced the worst customer service I've ever had. The lady first said that I should contact UPS and showed no sorry for my experience. I was really angry by her unprofessional behavior and attitude. She then said "do you want to cancel the order? I can do that and that's the only thing I can do" and she told me that I wasn't charged which is not true. What a terrible customer service agent!
I could have cancelled the order at the time but I was so angry that I didn't do that. Another two weeks later, I found the tracking page still said the same thing, so I wrote an email to cancel the order.
This company sells stuff at high price but offer the worst customer service I've ever experienced. You might have good experience with them but once something goes south you'll understand what I mean.

We first went to the right location, and the woman wanted to double check if we are at the Winchester garage, I double checked on google, realized we are not at the right garage, then when we drove to the Winchester garage, we then did not see the curbside pick zone D. We drove back to the original parking garage, found the zone D and when I tried to tell the woman for future reference, there are two Winchester parking garage, the women told me she has no control over google. I told her that’s not the point, I am just trying to be nice by letting her know how to give better direction for future customers. She kept arguing that it is inside Winchester garage, and she has no control over Google map direction, if the customer can’t find it, then it’s too bad. Horrible customer experience.
