Took my external hard drive for a power issue. About three months later no status on the part ordered. Requested for return on Saturday, could not return it since he had it at his house not at the shop. He agreed to meet me to return it back and no call. Have not recieve my hard drive as of yet.
Response from the owner an hour ago You did receive your hard drive and I didn't charge you for fixing that it didn't turn on at all.The other parts we couldn't get them so that why you got a full refund.So your power issue was fix and you didn't get charged for it.Did you forgot to put that on your review? First of all, you have a repair shop. Why did you take my hard drive home and have it there that whole time? Can you guarantee me that none of my files were copy at your home. I do recall you said you got it to work. Do I need to contact the authorities to investigate that? Do I need to worry about dealing with identity theft since I had important documents of me and my family in there? Two, when you gave the hard drive back, it was all taken apart. Thats not the way I gave it to you. Plus, the issue was not fixed. I took it to Best Buy and they will have it fixed in 5-7 days. Not 3 months. And last but not least, I have the receipt for the for charge of service. Total charge was $150. I paid $160 in cash cause I did not have change. You did not have change so you put on the receipt "I owe him $10. You returned me $130. Charging me $20 for service. What happen to the $10 that you owed me from before. That's not a full refund. I am not the type of customer that complains about service but in this case you did not have the common courtesy to contact your customer to provide an update.
