El Churro Bar - Cupey — Local services in San Juan

If you’re a churro fan, El Churro Bar at Cupey Food Truck Park is worth checking out! Just a heads-up: there’s usually a line, and seating is limited with only a few tables, so I recommend ordering to go.

The churros are freshly made, so be prepared to wait a bit—I waited about 20 minutes—but the freshness is totally worth it. They have a ton of sauce and topping combinations to choose from, which makes it fun to customize. I went for the Churro Box ($15), which comes with six different churros, and it did not disappoint!

My favorite combo was the cajeta with graham cookies—so good! A close second was the cream cheese with guava, which was also amazing. Next time, I’m definitely trying the ChurroAçaí cup because it looks like a game-changer.

Place is pretty but we thought the prices were to high for what it was. Staff was not knowledgeable of the products available. They didn't have some stuff from the menu and the excuse was that they changed the menu and the new ones were not available. After order were placed, they came back to ask again what we ordered. We ordered hot chocolate because it was advertised that it had chocolate on the rim with coconut. They brought us plain chocolate. Most garnishes. Later said that they didn't have the products then said that they do it sometimes depending if they are busy or not. We got charged the same even though we were served something not as advertised. Excellent personality this place! So old world Puerto Rico. Ambiance is classy, bright and airy. Original wood features. Food was great and the prices weren't exaggerated. We found it looking for churros and we found them here. Lyots of choices from classic churros to new and exciting toppings. I love simply cinnamon and sugar coated. We including tres leches and a queso crema to go with it. Delicious! Nachos were loaded with delicious, juicy chicken.
