Faccio Pizza Cupey — Restaurant in San Juan

Came a little close to 9pm it was my mother's birthday that day and we decided to celebrate at their place. Unfortunately because of the sedentary life the people in the area live, the lack of staff they don't want to hire so as to not waste money and all the closed areas so they could only attend fewer customers was very disheartening. My mother asked if we could just sit and eat something since it was her birthday and they've been going to that place since the original owner worked in that place. That is no longer existent, they rather give you three boot rather than make exceptions. Terrible customer service, worst experience for my family and the manager needs more experience in customer service. They really don't live up to the original owner's expectations and are really working hard on putting that place out of business. The area also smells like used mop so you know they don't do cleaning often...

Years ago when the older administration was managing the restaurant the experience was excellent. The quality of the food was great, the service fast, the atmosphere welcoming, and the staff incredible.

In recent years that's changed. The restaurant is run by a younger administration and the atmosphere is different. The restaurant is usually overcrowded, professionalism is lacking, and neither the staff nor the management seem to place importance on quality. Many employees are sometimes watching television, on their phones, or making jokes while you can see the kitchen is running behind. I have gone several times when visiting family members in PR and have found myself with rude tables, kids playing around like a playground, and have been barely able to hear someone next to me talking. The pizza is great. We had the jibaro pizza and the sample platter. My reason for giving it 3 stars is the service. There seemed to only be one waiter, which contributed to long waits, but we also observed Javier playing favorites with guests he greeted like they were friends. We waited 15m to be greeted. Drinks came fast. We had to call Javier to place the order for appetizers after 20m of waiting. We waited for the appetizers to come, and after we were done, we had to beg for Javier to come again and take our pizza order.
